I had an a-line dress, and ended up wearing a long-line bra that smoothed my tummy area and a slip (that came all the way up to right under my boobs).  It felt like enough support to me.  I don’t know how many layers you’ll want to add, because dresses can start to feel heavy and rather stuffy after being in them for a bit!

I’m not wearing a lace dress, but do you have to wear anything underneath? I have a ballgown which is always more forgiving, but Iam just wearing some “bride” underwear!

Also, the seamstress at the bridal salon should be able to sew in cups.Mine are sewed in and it’s awesome! I don’t have to worry about the added backfat that bras cna sometimes give and it’s just easier….one less thing to worry about!

Have a long line corset sewn into your dress and altered in the back…

And  spanx… Slim cognito is the best spanx line…
