i went to one 2 weeks ago and it was for the send off, B&G got int he limo after they walked through all the sparklers. the sparklers were long and lasted about 4 minutes. it looked fine.

my mom’s coworker did the sparkler send off for an outside wedding and she said there was so much smoke from the sparklers that all the pictures came out horribly and she wouldn’t do it again.

so maybe it is hit or miss but if you want it, do it.

I’ve only seen it done once and it had tons of smoke (Not like “The house is on fire” smoke, but like “A small campfire”) just floating around.

We’re doing one. It will be once we leave the reception. Any earlier for us and it wouldn’t be dark out in June. If you’re not leaving you could still do it, it just might be a little fourth of July-y lol

@sam.stoinski:  We did a sparkler “exit”. We didn’t leave right after the sparklers because we had to pack stuff up from the venue. It sort of signaled the end of the wedding. It was fun to run through the sparklers, in some of the photos you can see the smoke, others you can’t. It’s a specific technique that the photographer will use.
