I would go with about 80-100. Like you said, older guests will leave by the end of the night and not everyone will want one anyways. To get a more precise count, subtract the number of those on the guest list least likely to stay the entire reception!


How do you plan on lighting them? I want sparklers, too, but I’m not sure how to get them lighted. Give all of the groomsmen and bridesmaids a lighter? Lol

@jayelcee85: what about leave a book of matches at everyone’s table with your name and date?  Or get them made up and tie the book of matches to the sparklers.

I am expecting a similar guest count and I only ordered 48. This is because I do not wish for everyone to have one lit. I worry about the hazzards of the sparklers plus alchohol. We won’t have enough, but I don’t think anyone will care. 🙂

I am getting these too. Has anyone found a cheap but quality place to buy them? I haven’t even started researching it yet.
