Sometimes I get so tied up in the fact that I’m not engaged that I forget to do those fun special things to show my man that I love him. Tonight I decided to make him some Mussels marinated in a wine and garlic mix as an appetizer, Spaghetti with bread sticks for the main dish, a salad as an ender, and me for dessert:) I’ll be having some Barefoot wine with dinner too.
What do you do for your SO just to say I love you?

I suprise him with Lobsters when I see them on sale, I rub him down when he has had a hard day, I run him baths when he has been working in the cold, I baby him when he is sick, and I really go out of my to find his favorite treats for his lunches. Those are just a few, I really do put alot of thought into what would make his day just <-> this much better.

I am equally guilty of getting caught up in other things and forgetting about the sweet little ones that really can make an impresssion!
Something fun I am doing this year is throwing a personal homeade gift into his Christmas presents. I took a deck of vintage playing cards and printed out “52 Reasons I love you” and pasted one on each card. The cards are bound together with 2 rings so you can flip through the deck and read them. I think he’ll really appreciate the sentiment!

I cook for my SO Monday thru Friday, and I pack his lunch everyday. I can admit that I am so obsessed with waiting for the ring that I forget to buy him cards, leave little notes, and give him massages like I did in the past.
Thank you for starting this thread, it made me remember to step it up again!

I do almost all the grocery shopping for him, and try to cook most nights. He works late typically, so I can at least have a plan when he gets home. I also love to bake him treats, and leave the nuts out of most things because he doesn’t like them (crazy!). I help take the garbage out 🙂 And I let him play video games, even though the one he’s playing right now is awful!

I often make him his morning cuppa (if he doesn’t leave before me). But he normally only drinks half. Aw. X

@NowDontLetsBeSilly: I “spot” for him on CoD sometimes. All in the name of love. He’s been playing Batman recently, that’s fun to watch.

I rub his back when he’s had a long day, cook him special dinners sometimes, tell him I love him, cuddle with him on the couch to watch one of his fav shows, let him be my taste tester when I’m making frostings for desserts, etc. 🙂

I make dinner every night except Friday and Saturday we go out. I pack his lunch almost everyday and I clean the house all he really does is vacuum sometimes. He takes care of the outside of the house and I do the inside… LOL

I write messages on the mirror in shampoo when the mirror is dry, so when he gets out of the shower, the message is written on the mirror in the steam!

I love doing laundry (I find folding theraputic in a weird way) and he hates it, so I always do his laundry. I also love to cook for him when I can! I love baking and I will make him treats to take back and share with his roommates. I also love buying him random gifts like a new t-shirt if I find one on sale while I’m out with the girls. He likes when I suprise him with something new and unexpected. 🙂
