We’re doing:

-First Dance(s)

-Toasts (This is so my Maid/Matron of Honor can actually enjoy her dinenr and not be so nervous she can’t eat.)

-Surprise Groom’s Cake reveal

-Cake Cutting

-Dollar Dance

-See ya!

I’m just following the same pattern I’ve seen at other weddings

Entrance, first dance, dinner with speeches and toasts going on at the same time. dancing, cake cutting and lots more dancing.

We’re doing

– Entrance

-Eating and Speeches throughout

– 30 min break for reception crew to move tables (aka drinking in our hotel rooms or outside bar)

– First dances!

– Not sure if we will go right into the dancing or if we will do the bridal bouquet/garter toss (thinking the toss since our photographer might still be around). Actually, I’m not sure about all this tossing so it might get cut, lol.

It’s not common to have a grand exit in our part of the world but we might do it anyway with a final dance of the night and then an “official” good night to the couple. Problem is I’m hoping to keep partying after 2am when the DJ stops (although that’s probably not realistic given the length of the day).

Forgot about cake cutting, since I don’t particularly think others care about this part of our wedding we are planning to do that immediately following dinner.
