We aren’t having a traditional bridal party – so no Maid/Matron of Honor or Bridesmaid or Best Man. I would still like to have speeches.
I have 3 friends that are the most dear to me – I’d like to have one of them say something – but I don’t want to single any of them out. I think 3 speeches would be totally overkill – and that leaves FI’s side out.
So, assuming that all 3 would want to say something short, plus at least 1 from FI’s side – that’s at least 4 speeches. I’d also like a chance to say something to our guests – so not sure when to do that either.
I was thinking about something like this:
(maybe first dance)
Guests seated for dinner service
First course (salad)
MOG/MOB dances (no FOB)
Open dance floor
Any thoughts on flow or if that’s too many speeches, etc???
