(Closed) Spend more than $5k on your dress?

i was able to get mine at a trunk sale, and save 15% off the ticket price.  but tax and alterations pushed it just over the $5k mark.  here’s the dress

WOW thats a gorgeous dress!

I spent less on 5k on a dress. My mom paid for it but we just dont have that kind of money to spend me or my parents combine.

I paid $5,200 and with my veil and jewlery I ended up at 7k.

I did.  Mine was originally 5900, but was on sale and after taxes and all the fun, came to just over 4800.  I know it seems foolish for one day, but you cant substitute how you feel in the right dress.  I simply can not wait to wear my dress next year!  Hell I want to walk up and down the streets now!

Thanks @Treasure43 and @Mrs.MedinaJr.  I have to admit, I’m sooooo sad that I’ll never get to wear it again.  I LOVED being in that dress!

I also got a 17% discount on my dress, but after tax and alterations mine was just over $6K. I don’t have a good pic of just me in the dress at work, but here is the stock runway photo:
