Your dress is beautiful! I don’t think 1,100 is completely outrageous for a dress, considering how much some people pay for their gowns. It seems like your Fiance is okay with the price, maybe you could go over the costs so that you can see if the money is really in your budget.

I don’t think your gown is that expensive overall compared to many others out there.  Also it is beautiful and a great bargain.  I also get freaked out by how much weddings cost and how much I’ve spent so far.  It feels like I’m constantly spending.  But what I keep hearing from others is that it’s all definitely worth it in the end.

Perhaps you can ease your mind by planning to sell it afterwards. If you could recoup half of the cost, would you feel better about spending so much?

Don’t worry about the money too much.

I tried a dress that was 2000 euro’s and I was talked out of it by both his and my family. And I regret that I didn’t get that dress, because now I’m getting married coming Sunday in a dress that I don’t like half as much.

I felt like a princess in the 2000 euro dress, I look pretty and elegant. Now I have a dress I feel big in.. So, go for your dream dress!

@calypsocat813: And best of all, you have complete support from your Fiance.  Enjoy your dress, you’ll be looking at the pics for a very long time.
