(Closed) Spin Class

Oooooh I LOVED spin class!  I liked that I could increase or decrease resistance based on my fitness level.  You can ease into it and make it harder as you get better 🙂

Good luck in your class- make sure you wear bike shorts or spandex running shorts or something that won’t bunch in the crotch area and something that is not too short- either of these situations will result in chafing!

Make sure you have your water bottle & a towel to wipe the sweat off as you go.  Show up a few minutes early and have the instructor show you how to adjust the bike to your height.

Remember to have FUN!  You can burn a TON of calories doing spin.  Your ass is going to hurt tomorrow, but don’t give up.  Take a rest/recovery day and go back to another spin class this weekend or early next week so your tush gets used to it 🙂

Glad I read this, I’m about to join one myself. Does it burn off fat as good as running? I can’t run because of a foot injury…but I can spin the hell out of a stationary bike.
