@sarahbabs:  I know my fiance likes Hazelnut flavour and you can buy this kind for a regular coffee machine. It smells so good and if I liked coffee I would totally try it!!

@sarahbabs:  I forget which one we get but usually something involving chocolate.

Found it! I’m crazy, it’s not chocolate. It’s your regular old medium/dark roast.

We’ve talked about buying one of those “pod” machines…

*sigh*… maybe after the Kitchen Reno is done…

So many types on the market tho… however does one choose ???

The UPSIDE of these pod machines is the fact they are super easy & convenient

The DOWNSIDE is those dang pods are expensive

Mr TTR and I have enjoyed flavoured coffees for years in various formats.  Be it those canned instant varieties (General Mills International Coffees et all) or fresh roasted coffee beans that have been flavour infused.

Both serve their purpose… and a heck of a lot cheaper than 75 cents or $ 1.00 per cup that K-Cups work out to

(As I said above… cost seems to be the one thing barring us making the final commitment to a pod style machine)

We have both machines but use the Ekobrew cup so we can use our own coffee/tea.

I am not a coffee drinker but my husband loves Hawaiian Isles Kona Coffee in Chocolate Macadamian Nut.  A friend of mine brought it from Hawaii a few years ago and it is the household favorite.  Smells heavenly!

I don’t usually buy Starbucks grounds, but lately I’ve been SERIOUSLY in love with their ‘Anniversary Blend.’

@baletrina:  Ooooo +1 to Kona!

A friend of mine recently went to Hawaii and brought me back half a pound. (The good stuff is like $40/lb! It’s crazy!)

@This Time Round:  I really wanted a Keurig until I realized that a) we couldn’t get our favorite grounds in pods, and b) it doesn’t make lattes (which is what I really wanted). We settled for registering for a nice dual brewer–brews a full pot or a single serve and takes the pods/cups/grounds.

@sarahbabs:  We buy it in store at Harding’s (which is only in this area). Not sure where else they sell it–Meijer doesn’t even sell it! I just emailed them for a list of retailers, actually. Their main brand (Paramount) as a Mackinac Island Fudge one that I want to try. 😀
