I see that there are some threads out there about what we realistically want for Christmas (i.e. stuff that we will most likely get from someone or can get for ourselves). Now if you could ask Santa for ONE THING (sky’s the limit), what would you ask for?
My student loans paid off. I have a scary amount, and while Darling Husband will be helping me, I know that I won’t have them paid off until I’m 40 (if I live a hobo lifestyle, lol).

@MrsNewDay: Land (40+ acres)

TWO WEEKS OFF OF WORK AND MONEY AND DOG CARE FOR A NICE VACATION WITH Destination Wedding. I haven’t taken more than a 3-4 day trip since 2005 🙁

hmm.. all my bills paid off, for Fiance and I to find a house we actually want to buy, a package of unlimited personal training sessions to get bridal fit and laser hair removal since I am Spanish, Italian and french 🙁

@housebee: I would have a hard time choosing the two haha. My Darling Husband and I want to have land someday (maybe some animals, gardens, etc.), but in the shorter term being debt free would be AWESOME. We really don’t have much “bad” debt, but we have student loans (like, a lot) and a house and two cars, sooooo….

I want this awesome diamond SO. BAD. But I would never spend the money on it and I definitely don’t need it.

@MrsNewDay: ditto, pay off our student loans – with those gone we would be LAUGHING. Our payments are ridiculous. We could have a house with a nice downpayment in less than 18 months if those badboys were gone. Almost all of my stress can be tied to student loans.

To be pregnant with our 2nd child

@MrsNewDay: To have all of our debt paid off and then lots and lots of land to build an animal sanctuary (the one thing I KNOW I’d do if I were to win the lottery!)!!! 🙂

A million bucks.
I have student loans to pay off, cars to pay off, some home repairs to do, and it would be so nice if FH and I could take a vacation. I don’t think we’re having a honeymoon because of how much our financial situation has changed since we first got engaged, so it would be nice to have plenty of money to do that and then have more than enough to put away.
ETA: We’d also like to move out of Alabama, so that would be something that money would help.

@MrsNewDay: I’d love to be able to hire an interior decorator with an unlimited budget to furnish our house. It’s so empty! We’ve been buying furniture piece-by-piece off Craigslist, and I fret over every purchase because I’m afraid it’ll all look awful together. I would love Jonathan Adler or some other interior guru’s help haha.
Or else… a trip to Paris! 🙂

@veryberry13: Aw! Since I’ve been a waiting bee earlier this year, I’m now on the other side of the fence cheering on the couples that I hope to see engaged this year. I hope you get your wish! 🙂
Oh gosh, I would love a house + land, but if my loans are paid off, that goal will be way more realistic.
Keep them coming, ladies!

All I want is for my missing cat to come home.
You never realise how lucky and blessed you are until you lose something dear to you. If found her, I would feel as if I had won the lottery.
