This is inspired by milesbella‘s post. (Thanks, lady. )
I’ve got to admit that I’m a pretty inexperienced wedding gift giver. Since I was old enough to not “go in” with my parents on wedding gifts, I’ve been a dirt poor student. But I’m still a good gift giver! It’s just that I usually make the happy couple something instead of giving cash or purchasing a traditional gift. I know that might sound cheap to some of you, but you’ve got to trust me! I have a couple of things that I’m really good at making, and they’re always requested, admired, and appreciated.
Anyway, with that said, I noticed that pretty much all of you spend around $100 a gift. Seeing as that’s the norm, may I please ask you folks a question? Do you usually pick something at the exact price of the registry, buy several cheaper items, or go in on a larger item with other people?
Thank you so much – this is really helpful info.
