    Usually cash.

Sometimes for a very close friend I’ll pick a keepsakey thing either from their registry or just from my mind.

I’ve always given cash. I know thats what I was hoping to get on my wedding day.

Usually cash.  I also throw in something personal for a bride or groom that I am close with.  A girlfriend go married a few months ago and we are apart of a very large group of girlfriends.  In the years that we all have been close, there has only been one picture taken of all of us together.  I enlarged it and made it the cover of a photo book that I had designed with all the pics of us and gave that to her.  It was kind of pricey, but the look she had was worth it all.

Usually cash for me, but for close friends, I’ll give cash and an extra gift from the registry.
