I have a zero hour contract and my place of work changes regularly.

So 30 mins – 5 hours.

10 minutes,  which is a huge upgrade from the 45 I was driving a couple of years ago.

10 minutes. 20 if I get coffee and the person in front on me orders the menu. On public transit? 60 mnutes or more, lol. Transit is a joke here.

About an hr and 20 mins going (I leave at 545am) and about 1.5 coming home. I also live in SoCal and the commute is awful!!!! I hope to find something else soon closer to home.

I drive about 25 minutes in the each way. Almost all of it is interstate/highway. Public transportation is also a joke here!

30 miles — in the DC traffic that’s anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours.  Most often it’s about 45-60 minutes.

I drive 3.1 miles and it takes me 25-45 minutes. Just insane. Seattle traffic is aweful and I have to drive straight through Amazon.com headquarters. We’re looking to get out of the city!

To the office, about 10 minutes.  Much better than the hour plus commute I was doing until we moved last fall.

My FI also recently switched jobs and he too has like a 15 minute commute.  He is such a happier guy now.

Also in SoCal… Also awful 🙁 Depending on the time of day, it can take anywhere from 25 minutes to 2 hours one way. I’d say I usually budget 45 minutes-1.5 hours, that seems about average. I would move, but rent is so much more expensive and apartments are way crappier closer to where I work, plus I work out of multiple sites so if I moved closer to the main one, the other commutes would become worse. It’s kind of a mess, but I have found that singing loudly in the car helps me decompress from my day and I get through the commute a happier person 🙂

25 minutes with zero traffic at all (so never except when I have to go home mid day to let me dog out), typically about 30-35 minutes.  Really bad days are 45-50 min max.  This is pretty typical for the Boston area.  I have a ton of coworkers that drive 75-90 minutes one way.
