Here is a picture of my ring. It is a 1.85 carat black diamond that my Boyfriend or Best Friend will be buying *soon if he knows whats good for him lol* for $585 on Amazon.com. We were on a budget as well and Amazon has really good pricing for people on a budget. Just make sure to read the reviews!

Fiance is close to minimum wage, works 42.5 hours a week, and when we got engaged was earning about $500 a week. I am a full time student who works on a casual basis, not minimum wage but I only get work when they need me. Fiance saved for ages to get my $8850 ring.

Neither me nor fi make minimum wage, however we didn’t want to spend ALOT of money on a ring right NOW, we have plenty of other obligations [house, car, bills, ect], so we don’t exactly have alot of money to spend on “things”. I spent $319 on my bridal set. I have to save I’m very pleased with it, I love the ring and it looks like it cost ALOT more.

e-ring is a white gold 1/2 carat cluster in a princess setting, 19 diamonds total in it, the wedding band is also white gold, a little under a 1/2 carat and 13 diamonds total in it.

Because of how many diamonds it has, and how the diamonds are cut, this ring sparkles SOOOO much. I love it!

When Darling Husband proposed he was making minimum wage. He used his tax return to buy my ring. It was like $1300. We found an AMAZING deal (it was super super on sale). It is 1.75 TCW

$42 πŸ™‚ lol. We’ve decided to custon make my real expensive ring after I graduate with my BSN. I’m not allowed to wear it or any other jewlery at school anyways.

When my Darling Husband proposed he was making a little more than minimum wage. I have a 0.3 round cut diamond. Now he makes 4 times that and honestly, I wouldn’t have my ring any other way. I’m not a big jewelery wearer and I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing that much money on my hand.

My fiance is far from minimum wage, but I just don’t feel safe walking around with expensive jewelery. Here’s the etsy ring he got me, I think it retailed for around $500.

My Fiance makes a decent amount, but we also live in the Silicon Valley, so the cost of living tends to be kind of ridiculous. I also didn’t really WANT a super expensive ring… I’m a clumsy person, and walking around with several thousand dollar piece of jewlery sounds scary to me…. =P

My set was around $950, including tax and insurance. It’s a bit more expensive than I’d prefer, but I love my rings. πŸ™‚
