    Coworkers is one thing.

Sleeping with someone of authority another (which is exactly WHY most companies have policies against such practices)

In my teens / 20s when I was in my “exploring life” phase, I definitely Dated a wide expanse of people (when I was 18 to 22)… and ya, some of them were folks I worked with at various jobs…

Cannot say that all of those relationships would be regarded as kosher if put to a Litmus Test now based on todays 21st Century standards / way of thinking.

(Good gosh, whatever was I thinking… I am sooo blaming this on youth, and lack of awareness as well as the times… a lot of stuff that would fly then wouldn’t fly now… and for GOOD reason)

No juicy stories – Fiance and I met where he works. We had sexy time. And we’re getting married. I haven’t worked there since 2008 though. Started working there in 2005. We started dating in Spring of 2007.

Might want to edit your poll so multiple choices can be selected – for instance, I have slept with a teacher. Not when he was my teacher, but a few years after (talking college level here). I have not slept with any bosses or coworkers, but I know people who have.

@always:  My husband and I met at work (before we were in our respective careers), so I guess yes, I have had sex with a co-worker.

@always:  I used to hook up with my co-worker in the conference room/safe room/the boss’s office…it was so fun.

Not personally (one man girl here!) but my HS drama teacher was married to a former student. He was her student when she was a new teacher (age difference of like 5 years tops) but there were always rumors that there was not a whole lotta time between him graduating and them getting together.

If I wasnt a married woman, I’d see no problem in sleeping with a teacher or boss. Guess I’m just strange!

You should edit the poll so you can select multiple choices. I hooked up with a teacher at one point and My SO was my boss initially and we secretly dated for 6 months until I moved away. We’re planning on getting married in the next few years.

I was involved with someone I worked with very closely. We were just co-workers though, no one was in a position of authority over the other.

My parents were an office romance gone very, very right. Again, equals, although my mom beat out my dad for her job! My dad got a different one a few months later.

A student once propositioned my Darling Husband years ago. The way he tells the story cracks me up…

Student: You know, I’d do aaannnnyyyything for a passing grade.

    Darling Husband: Oh really? Anything?

Student: (all coy and flirty) Anything…

Darling Husband: Does that include studying really hard and doing well on exams and quizzes?

Student picked up all of her stuff and left in a huff! Hahahahaha!

I slept with a co-worker.  He had JUST quit as it was the end of summer and he was about to go back to univ… I was the same age and already graduated but he was going back for med school.  We had flirted at work hard… our whole work place was SUPER social and we all hung out all the time.  In fact I lived with 3 of my co-workers.

We went out drinking one night and ended up sleeping together only 2 or 3 times.  He ended up being an ass.  One of those guys who tries really really hard to be “different” and eccentric.  I liked it at first but quickly realized how forced it was.

The flame went out pretty fast!

Most of my univ professors were women…so… nope!  lol the only male profs I had,you couldn’t have paid me to sleep with them – ew!  But if they were sexy to me?  Yeah I wouldn’t have turned them down just because they were a professor.  By then I was an adult, not a teen.

I started dating my SO when we were co-workers. I knew of a couple people sleeping around with each other at that job.

Also, we had a few different managers there and one of the younger guy managers seemed like a normal/chill/friendly-in-a-platonic-way kind of person, but turned out to be a total creeper when I was alone with him once. He was friends with coworkers on facebook and was known to hang out with people and I didn’t think anything weird of it when he wanted to hang out, I thought other people would be around. Nope. He was a f***ing weirdo.

When I confided in a female coworker about him trying to get me to have sex with him, she told me he tried the same thing on her and had slept with or tried to with at least five other girls we worked with. Everyone was just keeping quiet about it! That was before my SO worked there though.

And when I was in high school, there was a teacher who slept with two of her students (a 16 and 18 year old), and one of them reported her because he found out about the other and was jealous. Kind of intense.
