I live in Scotland, ering is a .50ct princess and my wedding band is .50ct princess channel set. I had a replica of my wedding band made with alternating diamonds and sapphires-the sapphires are my husband’s birth stone and we also got married in September so they tied I’m perfectly.my Cartier trinity ring was my 30th birthday present so i wear that with my wedding band some days too.

Here’s my gorgeous emerald cut e-ring! I looked round H Samuel and a local jewellers for my ring, found ones I liked then told my then boyfriend a few that I loved and then he surprised me with one of them! I know in the UK, having some choice in your ring is not as commen but I think it’s beginning to become more popular. My engagement ring came from a local jewellers.

Mine is a yellow gold 3 stone ring, TCW 0.5, can never remember the other specs but they’re good! It’s from Laings, Scotlands oldest family jeweller and OH picked it himself and surprised me. Love it!

Not sure what I’ll do for my wedding ring, love the idea of more bling but also the tradition of a plain band, I also work in the food industry so need to think of the practicality.

flipsflops:  I love your ring so much! I want exactly that as a RHR one day, baguettes are such a winner.

UK-bee:  we definitely got way more for our money online than we would in a high street shop. To buy my ring on the high street would be twice what we paid, and the diamond probably wouldn’t be certified like mine is. 77 diamonds were brilliant and checked the diamond when it came in to make sure it was perfect before they set it

This is my ring. It’s from Ernest Jones, so high street. But it’s strawberry gold with morganite, diamonds, and chocolate diamonds. I think it’s beautiful!

UK-bee:

Your set is amazing! I love old cut diamonds.

Both of my rings were bought online from America. I had seen blue diamonds and absolutely loved them, they are my favourite colour. I made one excited comment to Darling Husband about them when I first saw one and that was the extent of our discussion about rings. He completely surprised me with the engagement and the ring. My set is definitely not typical for the UK but I absolutely love it.

CanadaMoose:  Wow that’s gorgeous! My ring is also from Ernest Jones 🙂 I’ve spent so long looking at their Le Vian collection, and your ring is amazing <3

My Fiance and I chose the ring together, he wanted m to have something he knew I absolutely loved. We went to Hatton Gardens for the ring, I wanted something that would be quite classic but with a slight quirk, which we feel we have with the setting 🙂 It’s a 0.9ct, triple ex, vs2, E set in platinum

tjacob2014:  Hi, I was just wondering if you could explain what makes Tacori rings special?

I’ve never heard of it before the bee!
