@FutureMrs.Mathy:  I love Tripp but my Fiance hates it 🙁

Girl name – Rider Ada Elizabeth (Ada is my great grandmothers name and Elizabeth is a family name and of course Rider because my Fiance is a advid dirt biker)

Boy name – Beauden Stanley Edward ( Stanley is my grandfathers name and Edward is my dads middle name and my Fiance loved the named Beau and i wanted a full name to use when he is in trouble so we chose the “den” at the end of it, and to my surpise its an actual name SCORE!)

@caits615:  Me either! I don’t get why people can’t say Rhiannon though because it truly is said how it looks. Re-ann-in. But it’s crazy how much some people butcher her name. My name is Shilo and I’ve had some weird pronounciations of my name like She-lo or Shill-o but mostly people get it right. And I love having a name that’s not common.

@MsMadHatter:  Ha. So I was totally pronouncing Rhiannon incorrectly. I was saying, in my head, “Re-on-in”. The way it’s actually pronounced is much prettier!

I love the idea of using names from our heritage. I’m of Irish background, and my Fiance is Croatian, which don’t really mix, so I’m trying to find anglicized versions of Gaelic names (whihc people will be able to pronounce, lol).

My name is Jessica, so I am determined to give my children a name that hopefully no one else in their class will have. Not a crazy out-there name (I’ve seen girls named Cinderella and Snow White a few years ago), but not really really well known names.

So far our favourites are:

Susannah, Sofija, Elspeth, Fiona, Dijana, Annabelle, Karla, Adrijana, Jasmina, Madeleine.

Dominik, Liam, Dashiell, Hamish, Connor.

I love this game! My favorite that I can’t use is Mila. Bf’s last name starts with M & it sounds like mushmouth. My other names are secret 🙂

I’m with @cait615–  One thing that makes me nuts is unnecessarily complicated spellings. No offense, but baby Emmaleigh will have to spell that out every single day of her life. Don’t make it hard! Emily is a great name. Keep it simple. Maybe I’m just old school! Everyone wants their special little flower to be special. But really these silly spellings are just another trend. It’s all of us heathers, Kristens & Amandas rebelling!
