I just began the process of writing my vows tonight.
Really they aren’t so much vows but a reflection of our time spent together so far and what we hope for the future.
Anywho, for those who have already or are in the process of writing your vows, where did you find your inspiration? Do you have a “blue print” you are following? Is there a link with tips you found particularly useful?
I found this link and so far so good:
but I am not feeling very inspired.

Ie been writing my vows for about 6 months now. Whenever something pops into my head i just write it down. Its just a whole bunch of dot points at the moment but i guess i will just arrange it.
I have found inspiration from watching chick flicks!
Whenever i see or hear certain things in movies and can relate them to my relationship it always helps!

We wrote ours together the day before our wedding. Our officiant provided some samples so we could have a starting point.
ETA: Here is the link she provided: http://www.mpartworks.com/interfaith-ketubah-text.htm
We were married by a rabbi, though I am Jewish and my husband is not. Normally the vows would be written into a ketubah, which is a Jewish marriage contract, but he wanted to speak our vows. So, we used standard ketubah texts as a starting point and moved on from there.
