Sweet.Sugar.Rose :  Yes ๐Ÿ™‚ .. he plays basketball so maybe for another 8 years, until his body doesn’t allow him to play anymore.

My fav country we lived in was Cyprus! Very welcoming friendly people, and the culture & beaches were so lovely. Like a hidden gem.

My fav cities to visit was Prague (for its beauty) & Athens (for its history). Breathtaking.

— I saw your comment earlier, I’d love to see Egypt as well. The history there wow I can only imagine!

Ok I’m pretty boring!

I live in Southern Ontario area, Canada. For our one year wedding anniversary Darling Husband and I were planning a four day trip to Ottawa – our nations capitol. Neither one of us have been. I’ve always wanted to see the parliment buildings, the royal canadian mint, and check out all the historical museums. We cancelled the trip as I am pregnant and don’t think I could handle the five hour train ride and all the walking around in general. But I’d still love to do the trip someday!

It has also always been my DREAM to do a cross Canada trip where I spend a few days in each province or territory. I always imagined we’d do it one summer when we were done having kids and they were all school aged. I think it would be a cool life experience!

We just got back from vacation but, I’m already itching to plan our next trip.. Our top choices are Iceland, Norway, or Japan. Although, we have an endless list of places we dream of seeing in our lifetime, those would are our top 3 contenders for the next vacation.

We have an Ireland trip in the works for Spring 2017. After that, I’d like to do a California/west coast trip.. there’s so much to see it’s hard to narrow down exactly where we want to go. I’m thinking San Fransisco maybe ๐Ÿ™‚

Wish list trips that are far less likely (at least any time soon) include: Hawaii, Spain, Iceland and Aruba!

We’re living in the midwest for grad school and, with two-ish years left, haven’t taken advantage of the area. While we are still here, there are tons of things we want to see. We really want to do a couple smaller, local parks; Yellowstone; Badlands national park; Mackinac Island; the Ozarks; maybe rent a cabin in Tennessee near the Smoky Mountains, even in the dead of winter, just so we can make a fire and enjoy beautiful views. This is getting a little farther away, but I also want to do Sedona and Zion national parks. We’re traveling to Charleston in March for our honeymoon and I’m also really excited for that! FI’s family is from New Mexico, and the next time we visit I’m really hoping we can make time to visit Chaco national park.

Honestly, I was surprised at how many people completely wrote off the US in the other thread, or just wanted to go somewhere like NY! Fiance and I really like nature and hiking (can you tell??) and there are so many beautiful places in this country we have yet to see. Because we’re in grad school we haven’t had disposal income for a while, but I’ll be working this year and we’re hoping to fund some weekend trips!

South Africa, Japan and Turkey! Though I’m not sure how realistic it is with one toddler and a baby on the way. We try to take a European trip every year (I’m originally from there so we take advantage of the cheap flights once we are across the pond), so our next realistic holidays will be Iceland, Germany or Scotland

I’d love to go to Egypt, and back to Turkey again.  I just want them to stop fighting and take my money! Egypt esp. they make 80% of their income from tourism, but they don’t make any when you can’t get into the country!

MrsBuesleBee :  If safety wasn’t a concern, I’d love to go to Egypt, Syria, Lebanon… most of the Middle East!  I’ve always been super fascinated by that area of the world.  My Mom has been obsessed with Egypt forever.  I always used to say when I got rich I would take us on an extended trip there to see everything ๐Ÿ™‚

Fiance and I would love to go to Asia next.  He would prefer Japan, I would love to see Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam.

Croatia, Switzerland, and soooo many others.

I’m very lucky in life, and have already ticked off a lot of countries ๐Ÿ™‚ been to lots of different US states, Australia, China (for a year), Japan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, a ton of Caribbean countries, etc.

Love traveling so much! I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant though… so travel will probably be far down my list of things to spend money on for the next little while!

There are loads of places I want to visit. In terms of actual planned/in the works trips though, we just have the Ukraine (4 nights in Kiev with a day trip to Chernobyl) planned for late May next year, and then Australia (exact itinerary depends on how much leave I’m granted so will either be Sydney/Adelaide/wedding if I get 2 weeks, or Syndney/wedding/Adelaide/Great Ocean Road/Melbourne if I get 3 weeks) for September/October for a friend’s wedding.

2018 the tentative plan is probably going to be 18 nights doing a Croatia multi-centre, with a few nights in Bosnia and Montenegro thrown in. May also squeeze in a short city break, likely to either Budapest, or Vienna and Bratislava.

MrsBuesleBee :  Nice choices! I’m quite lucky on travel- I’ve been to loads of places and a lot of the ones people are listing (which makes me feel quite smug and a bit old at the same time), but remaining on my list: I would really like to see Japan, Mexico/Guatemala for the ruins, the Great Wall of China, St Petersburg in Russia, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, the south of India and French Polynesia (in unaffordable luxury of course).

I travel A LOT for my job. Between now and Christmas I will be in: UK, Madrid, UK (again), Warsaw, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, San Fran and Toronto. I try to stay an extra day or 2 if I can to tour around a bit.

Our next big holiday will be our honeymoon to Abu Dhabi followed by Australia. Scandinavia and Borneo would be the top of the want list afterwards

MrsBuesleBee :  Napa Valley!!! My fiance and I went to wine country in Colorado (where we’re from) and had so much fun so now we want to go to the one in Cali. Hopefully it’s going to be our honeymoon spot!

I also want to take a trip to England and Ireland, but we’re saving that one for when I graduate from college.

I also really want to go to Maine. I’ve heard it’s beautiful.
