Man, I’m conservative, I think Trump’s ideas, policies, and ideals are gross.

However, I don’t think we’ll see too many Trump supporters pop in to say what they think, just to be swarmed and attacked.

Atalanta:  I see what you’re saying. Never thought of it that way. Being Muslim and Latina he is literally like the worst possible candidate for me.I guess I just don’t even try to figure out the appeal.

I’m an Aussie bee but the American presidential election affects pretty much every country in the world (we just don’t get a say in it). Let’s be honest…regardless of whichever one of the remaining candidates win, we’re all f*cked. NONE of them are amazing.

Anyone who votes for Bernie is a raging socialist. I’m a conservative. I liked Ben Carson but doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.

slinktobee:  I do not think that people who support a man who is willing to make appeals that are straight out of My First Fascist Handbook, augmented with chapters from An American Racist’s Down-Home Companion, should be shielded from the criticism that comes with making that choice.

Also, people, there is no comparison between what Trump is doing in appealing to xenophobia, religious hatred, nativism and other extraordinarily dangerous impulses to garner support and what the rest of the candidates are doing (with the possible exception of Ted Cruz’s appeals to theocratic Dominionism).  I really think that the “all candidates are bad” argument is a lazy and cowardly argument to make in this election cycle.

As far as I am concerned this election year will be who is the lesser of the two evils and I’m unsure at this point.  Not a fan of anyone really this year.  That being said- with people being called racists and idiots in the first few comments of this thread- I’d be surprised if you get any sincere answers.  Most people are going to be too afraid to get torn apart, which happens too many times in political threads on here.  It can get pretty nasty at times, which is sad.

Laur12:  Will he use his campaign contributions to get him out of his $50 million plus personal debt?

“Don’t you have to be a registered Republican if you want to vote for Trump in the primaries?”

No.  Or maybe it varies by state, I want to say I just read that recently.  I voted yesterday and could vote either republican or democrat.

MarriedToMyWork:  I agree, I have very harsh criticism for Trump, and the people that tend to support him. I just dont see many of them wanting to open themselves up to harsh criticism on this forum, in particular.

sparkles1986:  Bahaha I’m betting that Kanye is counting on Mark Zuckerburg to single-handedly fund his presidential campaign.

tessadub:  I’d take Carson to be the nominee anyday.  Everytime he opens his mouth I just laugh and laugh and laugh.
