i can’t wait to see what others post! i really want a cute diaper bag, but can’t bring myself to spend so much on one of the designer bags that i love. but, all the cheaper ones i see are fugly ๐Ÿ™ currently using a random large tote bag that happens to have a few extra pockets. its okay for now since my baby is only 2 months and we’ve only been on a handful of real outings, but as he gets older i’ll need the real deal…it’s a race against time!

I think this is a great thread! I could never spend 200 on a diaper bag so it’ll be great to see some affordable bags!

Here are a few at BRU I thought were cute…

And the one I registered for not because it is pretty but because it is big…

It’s just over $50 (at $58), but the Skip Hop Duo has really great reviews and comes in lots of colors and patterns.

The Vera Bradley diapers bags that I like are originally $99 but the older colors/patterns are cheaper (still brand new bags, just in the patterns they are phasing out).  They have numerous to choose from for $40-$50.

Here’s an on sale pattern I like:

This one is $40.

And this one is $50.

I haven’t really thought much about diaper bags yet… so I don’t really know what I will NEED and won’t need BUT… I think I will probably end up ordering something from the ThirtyOne catalog (see organizing utility tote) and get it monogrammed =) I have one now that I carry stuff in when I work 16hr shifts at work. I love it! & I think it would make a good affordable diaper bag =)

@mh.albania: oooh i like that one! most of the time i end up combining my essentials (wallet, cell phone, lip gloss, etc) into the diaper bag, and i wouldn’t mind carrying that around sans baby ๐Ÿ™‚

@WiLLowTreE:

That’s what I have and I love it! My mom got it for me before we knew the gender so it’s gender nuetral, which is good b/c now my hubby can carry it too (not these prints, just posted a pictures so people could see what it looks like). It has tons of outside pockets so it’s easy to find things quickly, like a bottle when you have a hungry screaming baby ๐Ÿ™‚
