@SweetMelissa429:  Hmm.  Well, I told my seventh graders this morning that since the other schools in the city are closed, there was no lunch for them.  So I guess that counts.

But I think adults shouldn’t prank each other…

I’m not planning to prank Darling Husband, but I did pull a few harmless antics at work.  I taped a piece of paper on the sensor of the computer mouse at each computer in the nurse’s station and the front desk.

I also pulled the knob on the faucet to make the eyewash come on istead of the regular faucet.

Last year, I borrowed a life-size cardboard cut out from a friend (her husband had made one for her when he deployed overseas, so it’s a 6’2 guy in an army uniform) and I put it in the emergency shower and it scared the bejeezus out of the ladies who work back there.  I only left it in for about an hour that morning, since it’s a safety violation to store anything in the shower, but it was good for some laughs for a while.  I think they toted him around and hid it in the bathroom, the elevator, and someone’s office by the end of the day.

April Fool’s Day is stupid. We had friends elope on it a couple of years ago–we literally thought it was a joke, especially because the wife is a militant feminist who was NEVER getting married (she broke off a LTR because he wanted to get married and she didn’t), and the husband had already been married (turns out she was a lesbian) and had two kids (never married the first kid’s mother). Surprise, they really did get married.

I hate pranks, though, so there’s that. Fiance and I mess with each other all the time, though.

I wish I could think of something for Darling Husband, we have goofy personalities but I am not that creative. I think as long as both people find them funny there is no reason adults can’t have a little fun with pranks!

I just think pranks are childish…it’s not like everyone should be super serious all the time, though!  Having fun and being silly is one thing…but planning to, what, drop a bucket of water on someone’s head?  That’s immature.

I like april fools when it’s like a really silly news story or a wedsite/organisation sort of thing, you know – something big. On a personal level I just find it annoying XD

Boyfriend or Best Friend got a text this morning saying “Happy April fools, I should probably try to convince you I’m pregnant or something :3”. And that’s the closest I’ve ever come to pranking someone XD Effort man (plus he’s camping right now – not much I could have done XD).

Sorry but you are never too old to pull a prank on your SO! I guess it depends on the type of relationship you have with your SO though. I personally couldn’t be with someone that I couldn’t be silly and joke around with every now and then. Sometimes it’s nice to just let go and laugh a little! That being said I don’t think I’m going to run home after work and fill my FI’s office with balloons or anything haha. As long as no one is getting hurt I don’t see the harm!

I really don’t care for April Fools so no, I’m not doing anything.  That doesn’t mean the Darling Husband and I aren’t silly and don’t joke around with each other though.

Yes. I just thought of something that I can say to him that might work. Actually I’m going to text it since he’s working till 6:30.
