@Happy Hopeful Bee:  I use a bb cream.. Especially now because where I live ( arizona)is super Hott.. I first bought the garnier bb cream but the first formula.. I didn’t like it at first because it had a strong perfume sent.. Also it was meant for dry skin.. I have oily skin and didn’t work well for me.. They came out with a new formula for combination to oily skin and I love it!! I’m Hispanic. Light/ med skin tone..I have been using this since April.. I just use it for those lazy days I don’t want to put makeup on but need that lil coverage and sunscreen.

I use the Two Faced BB cream with a bit of powder over it. It’s basically a tinted moisturizer, but I don’t need a full coverage foundation (nor do I like wearing it) so it works great for me. I have fair skin.

@Happy Hopeful Bee:  yes it dries Matte at least on me.. I do put powder over just because that’s just me.. I want to stay matte.. Through out the day I do get a little oily but that’s just my skin.. I just use 1 blotting paper and I’m good.. The only foundation/ makeup that kept my oil controlled where I don’t need any blotting papers is my airbrush makeup..i don’t want and have time to do that everyday.. Everything else, I will get oily.. Some foundations More than others but I do like this bb cream.

I use Lancome BB Cream and I really like it. It evens out my skin tone and it’s really quick and easy to throw on in the morning, especially since I don’t know what I’m doing with make-up.

I am Asian with combination skin and use L’oreal Magic Skin Beautifier. I’ve noticed a significant improvement. My skin simply looks great now. I didn’t have acne that often before using it. I only usually need light coverage so it works for me. I set it with my Make Up Forever HD Powder.

Some pros – simply makes my complexion look better, great light coverage, natural looking, great for oily skin.

The cons – it doesn’t last all day and for some reason, Target is always out of it in the shade medium, still need concealer doesn’t have SPF

I am on my second tube and love it but don’t expect miracles and you’ll be fine.

ETA There isn’t enough coverage for me to trust it on my wedding day.

I just started using Garnier BB cream (Matte finish for Oily skin) as a fluke and I really liked it for more of a day to day coverage option. It is really cheap too which was a nice change from my special events foundation. The coverage is pretty good and I add a bit of bare minerals on top for a matte finish. The lasting power is so-so, even better if I spritz on some Urban Decay All Nighter.

I haven’t noticed any difference in my skin. I have normal skin overall with oily spots in the T-zone. I don’t have many breakouts but ocassionally will have the hormonal pimple. I have been using it for about two months daily.

Pros: cheap, easy to apply, matte like coverage, supposedly contains SPF and other nutrients for skin.

Cons: doesn’t last as long as my normal makeup (Immaculate by Hourglass) BUT it is a nice change for laid back work only days.

    Race/Ethnicity: White

    Your Skin Type: Fairish

What brand of BB cream do you use: Too faced

How long have you been using it: Around 6 months?

Pros: No need to go crazy matching exact skin color like foundation as it is light and airy and blends to your skin tone

Most companies carry a variety of colors to meet a number of skin tones

My particular brand gives a natural glow and definitely evens out my super blotchy complexion

Not a ton-it can rub off if it doesn’t set quickly

The one I purchased wasn’t the cheapest out there

Have you noticed skin improvement, particularly softness and blemish lightning/acne clearing up: Not necessarily-I don’t use it daily

I’ll weigh in with my answers:

    Race/Ethnicity? Caucasian

Your Skin Type? Somewhat acne-prone and oily but not that bad

What brand of BB cream do you use? Smashbox photo ready

How long have you been using it? About 2 months

Pros? I love using only one product instead of moisturizer + foundation, I like the look better, it feels lighter than foundation

Cons? expensive, and I notice a slight sulfur smell when I wash my face at night (but I don’t really mind)

Have you noticed skin improvement, particularly softness and blemish lightning/acne clearing up? I think so, but it’s too soon for me to say 100%

Overall I’m a fan, and plan to continue using it.

    Race/Ethnicity? Super pale caucasian

Your Skin Type? oily t-zone but normal for the most part. Can be sensative though.

What brand of BB cream do you use? I use Korean BB creams- Tony Moly, Etude House and Skin Food are my favorite brands. I have about 12 brands total in my makeup bag. (I know, I have a problem, I can admit it haha)

How long have you been using it? 6 years give or take?

Pros? Covers my imperfections just enough without ever looking caked on. Gives my skin a nice youthful dewy glow. It never looks like I am wearing a ton of makeup which I like.

Cons? It is expensive to buy the brands I like and have them shipped over to the US 🙁

Have you noticed skin improvement, particularly softness and blemish lightning/acne clearing up? I notice my skin is much more hydrated- the one brand I use is specificaly designed to moisturize and even my skin tone which it does awesomly. I have a bit more blemishes these days but I blame that soley on the stress of wedding planning.

Anyone use any Korean brands? I’m interested in trying one because I hear the coverage is better.

Other – I’ve never used it and I have little interest to.  I’m happy with my current skincare regimen (Clinique 3-step) and don’t plan on changing things any time soon.
