My Fiance does and he is an engineer/software engineer

I am close (or will be by our wedding) and I am a government project officer. I may get paid well, but I am currently reading the FAR at 10pm at night.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@Pinkmoon:  Why of course you can! And by actuary I meant that I hope to make over 100k as a sith. I just need to work on channeling my inner dark side more.

I’m a student teacher (presently PAYING $7000 to work full time, fantastic!) I can guarantee I will NEVER fit into this category ๐Ÿ™‚ lol. It’s still exciting to check out your careers, though.

Fiance has done this as an asst. creative director for an advertising agency. He’s my Don Draper (mad men) teehee.

@OnceUponATime:  Haha. I’m studying to be a teacher too! So we’re in the same never-gonna-hit-six-figures wagon. Unless we move to Finland? Teachers there make the same as physicians and lawyers (granted, there is more income equality there across the board).

@bowsergirl:  Fantastic! It’s widely understood that teachers are incredibly underpaid in the US. I’m absolutely in support of moving to a country that supports educators. After all, someone has to prepare the academic foundation for all these engineers, project directors, and government workers! ๐Ÿ™‚ Not to mention the world’s miners, chefs, secretaries… -lol

Combined household income is well over 100K however neither of us make that alone. He is a structural designer and still calls me his ‘Sugarmama’ because I make more even though I build cars! lol

Oh wow everyone! Good job and congrats to you all successful bees!

I sure hope I could make that much but probably won’t as long as I’m employed. Let’s hope my Fiance will start making 200K/year in the next 10 years…

I’m an engineer too, but I doubt I’ll ever reach six figures!

H does.  He’s an analytical chemist for space science.

@OnceUponATime: International teaching is great! I saved twice as much in Korea that I made in the U.S. Singapore and Abu Dhabi also pay well. The best I’ve heard is Saudi Arabia – one couple that just moved there make a combined 210K/year!
