i did a 20′ rose petal aisle runner, i had it finished outside one day and it was so hot one day it loosened the glue and all the petals are coming off now.  i couldn’t be more frustrated so i’ve put it in the corner and i’m ignoring it for now.

I don’t have a picture yet but I made teapots from coffEe cans and PVC pipe with clear head “water” pouring from Them. They were completely adorable but very fragile and they totally fell apart.

This was supposed to be a lovely cake designed to look like an open book. You can’t tell in this picture, but it’s already fallen completely apart by this point. The cake was too dry, the icing was too thick and then too buttery….NOTHING went right as I tried to bake and decorate this. Finally I got so mad at it that I ripped the fondant off, wrote FAIL with the icing writer and called it a day.

Ugh, I found this “SUPER SIMPLE!!!” tutorial on 100 Layer Cake for gold-edged envelope flaps using spray paint. Long story short, I ruined about 25 envelopes in what looked like a tragic spray paint factory accident.

i attempted again but with a darker grey paper and pearl stickers instead of using pearl thread (i’ll post a pic tonight) and then got a pro to do up a demo:

but the paper she used is way to dark, i dont like either of her lace, or the ribbon (yes im untalented AND picky) considering buying the paper ect but paying her to make it

I wish I had pictures! I attempted to make a lace garter, well I have made LOTS of garters in the past (My mom used to for a living) Well for some reason this time I just forgot what to do. I doubled all the measurements but the lace. So when I went to put it on, It was like the size of a barbie doll’s. Well maybe not that small, but wouldnt go over my knee cap!

Oh, and I tried to make MR & MRS shirts. Well lets see, first mistake, i printed the words right side up, so when I went to iron them, They were backwords. Okay I fixed that, then when to iron again. And Idk why, but for some reason I thought only the color would take, so I didnt bother cutting it out. Needless to say I had a huge white blob around the words. Then, to make matters worse, I dropped the iron on it. Burning the image to the shirt, and a whole right through! Then when I went to cut out the other words, everywhere the blades touched, it scrapped off the ink.

I have failed on many more projects that I have been sucessful with.  We are now moving many DIY projects to pros or at least semi-pro…Admittedly I have a pile of glitter and glue and a little project goin on in my room right now.  I am not sure how to keep this glitter from falling off though :/
