Most night – yes.  Although once we have kids, we will start having family dinners at the table, not in front of the TV.

Ugh, yes. When we first got married we would eat at the table but I am a ridiculously slow eater and DH would get impatient because not only would I eat super slow, but I’d do most of the talking! He’d complain because he’d be done eating before I was even halfway done, and he didn’t like sitting at the table for hours on end. Now we eat in front of the tv almost every night.

Once we have a family that will definitely change though! =]

I guess I’m part of the minority, but my SO and I never do. We make dinner a kind of quiet time to focus on conversaton and enjoying eachothers company. Not that you can’t if you eat infront of the T.V. He just seems more focused, lol.

He’ll eat if we’re watching a movie, but I don’t. Even growing up my Dad and I would eat at the table while my Mum and Sis ate in front of the T.V. There’s nothing wrong with it though 🙂

We do once, maybe twice a week. If I’m making a really casual dinner like pizza or something we’ll eat in front of the tv. If I made a nice meal we’ll eat at the table.

There’s a half wall between our kitchen and living room so even if we eat at the kitchen table the tv is usually on in the living room so we can watch. Doesn’t stop us from talking to each other but its always there.

All the time. Our ‘kitchen table’ is a poker table lol and hubby is paranoid of food or drinks going near it!

We don’t have space for a table so the only places to eat are in front of my computer or the TV/my SO’s computer. We usually catch up on missed shows during dinner.

Every day, except when we have my stepson, then it’s dining room, tv off. When we have kids it’ll be the same as for my stepson. With just DH and I, we’re totally guilty of dinner on the couch in front of the tv. Honestly, our kitchen table has been turned into semi-permanent kitchen storage, and the diningroom table is my office that I really just clean up for weekends that my stepson is here! I can hardly wait for a house with a REAL craft room for me and a BIG BIG BIG kitchen!!! LOL!

Never!  My DH laughs at how old fashioned I am with table manners actually.  I do now allow  the TV to be on whilst we’re eating, but under the condition that when we have kids that will not happen so they learn to sit at the table without distraction.

I love sitting down to a show from my DVR that I have been dying to watch and eating dinner, actually I will wait to take my first bite until the show has started 🙂

Wow, I find this very surprising! TV on during dinner was never allowed when I was growing up, and I’ve just kept that going since I’ve been away from home.

We don’t have a TV (intentionally), so it’d be pretty impossible to eat in front of it. I love that my husband and I sit down and eat all of our dinners together–it’s our time to spend together and talk about our days.
