I really do need to start storing a list somewhere because I often think of potential gifts for SO and then forget.
Currently, I am planning on getting him a gift card for some nice sunglasses. He wears sunglasses ALL THE TIME ..but buys the ugly $5 ones from Walmart. He mentioned a couple months ago that he’d like to get a nice, quality pair eventually, soooo .. I thought a gift card to Sunglasses Hut would be nice.
I’m really not sure what else I’ll be getting him yet.
What about you? Any ideas on what you’re getting yours?

Lately he has gotten SUPER into tea, so as part of his present, I’m getting him this really cool steeping pitcher + a variety of teas to try. I don’t have a picture of the pitcher, because it isn’t sold online, but it allows you to steep any tea into cold water-cuts out the bioling/brewing.
Besides that though, I have no idea. Luckily we still have a lot of time! 🙂
One year I got him a few gift cards and put them in a new wallet for a cuter presentation! Another time, for a friend of mine, I bought a little potted christmas-esque tree and hung the gift cards from it like they were ornaments!

@AllieANT: Aw, I really like the wallet idea! Hmmm ..maybe I need to touch on the subject of wallets …

He saw a dressy vest that he just loved, so I’m planning on getting him a brown dressy vest and coordinating pants. I’ll probably get him some books, too.

No, and I still havent figured out what I’m getting him for his birthday next month either. (wails in despair)

I don’t think anything, and here’s why … we’re paying for our wedding and we’re saving tons of money for it. If there was any extra to spend on something awesome, I know he’d be mad it didn’t go to pad our wedding account for upgrades/extras. I feel the same way – we’re still going to have an awesome Christmas, just no gifts! Makes it easier on us.

We have our anniversary, then his birthday, and then Christmas coming up. I just ordered his anniversary gift (nice sunglasses he’s been wanting and a print on etsy)..I have a couple small ideas for his birthday and Christmas, but nothing big. I need to get on that! I keep a running document on my phone of things to get him, my mom, and things I want 😉

I use the Christmas List app for Ipad, you can password it and budget..kida nice for someone like me…hubby’s getting a hand knitted sweater a la Jeff Bridges in The Big Lebowski…it’s what he said he wanted….as long as he doesn’t go to the store in purple hammer pants and fall in with a bunch of rug pissers I figure it’s cool!

No. No idea what I am getting him for his birthday either, and that’s in November. Better get my thinking cap on.

I usually try to get him something bigger because his birthday is 2 days after Christmas… not sure what I’m getting him yet, but I know one of his Christmas-birthday presents is going to be a special cake!
We usually never do birthday cakes, but neither of us got a piece of the lemon mousse-filled cake at our wedding and we were really disappointed! So, I decided I’m going to order him a cake from our wedding bakery in that flavor. Not going to lie, it’s kind of a present for me too… haha 😉

Darling Husband loves to cook so I’m getting him the Le Creuset brasier.
But other than that, I’ve REALLY been trying to focus our gift giving into more of an experience gifting? Like giving manis/pedis, vacations, massages, etc. I’d like for Darling Husband and I to have a trip right after Christmas as our gift.

I haven’t put much thought into it honestly. Most likely, the ac adapter kind of wii sensor, since he is complaining about the battery one we got with our system. And most likely a new necklace.

@PinkMagnolia: I’d look to Staub instead of Le Creuset, they are priced a bit less and the quality is waaaaaay better, FYI. Awesome gift!
