I’ve been missing my sweety and he has only been gone for like 7 hours! LOL!!
We are talking about greeting our Darling Husband at the door when they come home every day. What do you do when they have been gone for an extended period of time?
I knew he would be gone this weekend so I have filled my schedule with things to do every single day so I won’t really miss him.
AGAIN…am I alone?? LOL

Tonight I am going to a Sassy Chicks in the CIty event…they have tons of vendors where we can shop.
Tomorrow I am going to see NEW EDITION in concert. They are my FAVORITEEEEEEEEE
Saturday I am going to see Family Fued. Just found out they are taping it here in Atlanta.
Sunday I’ll rest a little and prepare for all of the inlaws to come into town because my neice’s graduation is Tuesday! And then HUBSSSSSSS will be home Sunday!

Haha! That’s awesome. I always write myself a list of fun things to do, and try to get together with friends. The busier you are, the faster the time goes until you get your honey back!

My FH got home last weekend after being away for just over a week. I had our two kids to occupy me so I didn’t plan any thing that I don’t usually do. But I do find when he is gone I spend waaaaay more time doing housework, the house is always spotless(ish) when he is away.

My Fiance has been out of town for 8 days now! Won’t be back until this weekend. He is on a work trip. I miss him a lot.. but like you, try to occupy myself! I do more girly things I can’t necessarily do when he is around! 🙂

You just need to stay busy and have your own life while he’s away. It’s always nice to share about the things you were able to do and accomplish while he’s off doing and accomplishing his own things.

Yes. I would schedule friend time with people so they could feel special and loved as well. I would do things that I want to do that Darling Husband wouldn’t necessarily be interested in. But as an introvert, I would also enjoy the quiet sanctuary that is home.

My SO left this morning and is gone until Sunday too 🙁 Actually, while I hate having him gone, I do tend to be super productive while he’s away because I keep myself busy.
I’m having happy hour with a friend tonight, going out with my sister tomorrow, and then planting the garden, cleaning, shopping, and packing for our trip next week on Saturday/Sunday. I ususally do just fine during the day, it’s only at night that I really miss him.

I have enough going on in my own life to stay busy and forget he isn’t around…but I am more likely to indulge in TLC wedding shows and pad thai on Friday nights when Fiance isn’t home…

Good heavens! As much as I love FH, I have never ever wondered how to “occupy” myself while he isn’t around. Between work, running the cat sanctuary and a home, PT, fitness activities, gardening and running around with my friends, I never want for something to do. I have never needed a man to “keep busy”, and I never will!

I get sooo bored. Fiance and I live in the middle of nowhere. My best friend is at the other end of the country. My university friends have left the province to go back home. Boo everyone is gone. I get SO bored with Fiance gone.

I often don’t see Darling Husband weeknights. I try to be more available for nights when he is home, but I don’t specifically make plans to keep myself occupied.

That would be a ditto for me!
I go out to dinner with girlfriends, go shopping, watch chick flicks on the TV, sprawl out on the couch (usually we share it), I organize my stuff, go through old clothes, work on the yard outside, go for hikes with my dog, talk to girlfriends on the phone.
