I never wear a bra to bed, unless I accidentally doze off on the couch for a nap. Besides, I have asthma and wearing one to bed naturally adds to the ‘tightness’ I feel in my lungs and in my chest area–if that makes sense at all!

I do hear it is not good for breast health to wear one to bed. The lympathic system becomes constricted from the material. I also hear that push-up bras with tons of padding aren’t good at all for your breasts–in fact I was just reading an article on breast cancer and how many doctors believe that push-up/tight bras can be contributors to breast cancer because the lympathic system and breast tissue are constricted.

~Needless to say, I recently felt extreme pain in my breasts after wearing the Miraculous bra from Victoria’s Secret. I hardly wear it and I know why. I know I may not be used to it, but OUCH, pain that lasts a week can’t be a good thing!

I use to wear a bra to bed but a couple years ago I stopped when I found out most girls don’t. My mom just never taught me any different when I was younger. But I do realize that some of my asian girlfriends do wear a bra to bed from the trips we been on while sharing a room. They don’t understand how I don’t wear one. But if I am sleeping over at the guy house, I normally won’t take off the bra until right before bed.

I’m one of those people who walks in the door at the end of the day and whips the bra off immediately. lol. I can’t stand them.

I will say that I usually wear one all day now that I’m pregnant. It helps prevent stretch marks a bit and they need the support when they are sore.

I’m much more comfortable without one but I do wear one to bed sometimes, because I’m very well endowed and it’s just as uncomfortable to not wear one. I can’t win! lol

I used to wear one all the time when I first started wearing bra’s, but now I take it off when I get home and then I will usually end up in a sports bra or nothing at all after we workout. On the weekends though, bra all the time… I’ve got big boobs and a 12 y/o stepson, so… it’s necessary!

I wear mine all of the time… My Fiance and I don’t live alone anymore so it’d just be awkward otherwise.

I occasionally wear one if I fall asleep with it on. I have no problem sleeping in one, even with underwire.

I have a decent sized chest and for awhile I was wearing a sports bra to bed every night because I read somewhere that sleeping in a bra would help prevent sagging boobs. Don’t know if there is any truth to that – but figured it wouldn’t hurt. But then I met Fiance, and gave up on it.

I’m on the busty side and I don’t ever wear a bra to bed, but sometimes I do wear a nightdress or top with built-in support from Bravissimo.

I do occasionally whip off my bra when curled up on the couch of an evening, but generally I don’t find them uncomfortable.

For bustier girls, I’d highly recommend the Bravissimo nighties. They’re soft and comfortable but supportive and moderately demure.

The only time I wear a bra to sleep is if we’re visiting ILs…then I just feel awkward about going braless after I shower and change into PJs.

I actually wore a bra to bed until my freshman year of college then I stopped.  I always wore PJs to bed until my sophomore year of college and then I stopped and just wear underwear unless I have company of course 🙂

@Mrs Grape:  Agreed, whenever I visit my inlaws I wear a bra 24/7.

I never wear a bra to sleep. In fact, I only wear a bra when I leaving the house or at visiting with family. But I never wear a bra to sleep. I hate bras and wish I didn’t have to wear one ever!
