My SO thinks I’m beautiful either way. He prefers me with no make up, though. I usually don’t wear any anyway. I didn’t before I met him, and I’m not about to start just because I have a boyfriend.

Other: he likes me with or without it. That said, I never look like I have makeup caked on. It’s more of a slightly glammed-up barefaced look.

I wear tinted moisturizer, contour, and mascara on a daily basis, especially for work because ya gotta look like you’re not wearing any make up but also not scare people with too little.

FH loves it when I doll up for going out, and actually comments on how “sexy” i look. Where as during normal days he says I look “cute”. He hates dark lips and anything that will come off on him when we kiss though, so chapstick is the way to go for me.

Either way, idc lol. The only way I’d give up makeup was if he was deathly alergic to it 😛

He likes it when I do natural looking makeup. He really doesn’t like it when girls wear too much. Most of the time he’ll tell me I don’t need it and not to bother putting any on, but then says I did such a good job with it when I do it anyway.

I am a Makeup Artist so if he hated it, I don’t know if we could be together, haha.  In all seriousness, he loves me either way.  He doesn’t have a preference, he loves when I get “all dolled up” and he loves when I’m not wearing anything (not often though, I’m a makeup lover).

I asked him and he said he likes how I do it for special occasions, it looks more formal/polished and goes with my formal outfits and he likes that it doesn’t look trashy or “like make up”, BUT, he’s glad I don’t wear it every day b/c he likes my natural look best, and doesn’t think it would be healthy to wear it all the time. By The Way, he comments negatively on people wearing obvious or poorly-applied makeup fairly regularly, so I wasn’t really surprised.

I’m inclined to agree with him, that I look best daily being fresh-faced and that’s healthiest too, although I try to use organic cosmetics as much as possible. It’s still pore-stifling garbage as far as my body is concerned, I’m sure. lol!

He loves me makeup or not, but he does like “darker eye makeup.” I normally only wear liner and mascara and maybe a light shadow, but he likes it when I do fun eye stuff. I’m not really a lip stuff person, but he doesn’t like or dislike it.

Matt likes a modest amount. He’ll accept a little more dramatic eye make-up on occasion too. He hates lipstick though, and insists that if I’m going to wear something on my lips on our wedding day, it just be lip-liner and chapstick LOL

Needless to say, I’d like to try that “Just Bitten” stuff by Revlon!

@Creiddylad:  Thank you!! Lots and lots of practise and patience!! The best tips I can give is to use a liquid eyeliner with a felt tip instead of a brush and to do it in a little compact mirror instead of in a big mirror. Tip your head back so you can get at the lid better without your lashes getting in the way!

This is a great tutorial, she uses gel instead of liquid but personally I prefer liquid.

    Hope this helps! 🙂

My boyfriend prefers me naturally, but he doesn’t mind if I put on make-up for a night out. Sometimes red lipstick really gets him in the mood. 😉 He is more of a perfume man than a make-up man.

My Fiance always tells me I am beautiful with or without it but he is also very nice about complimenting my makeup. He doesn’t like lipstick though. It is the one thing I actually don’t like either so that is okay. I usually do a clear or nude gloss and thats it. The only crazy thing I will do on occasion is eyeshadow. Like for halloween I did spiderwebs and we went out for a party once and I matched my eyes to my shirt. My Fiance isn’t big on the crazy eyeshadow colors lol but that is more for pictures and such. He does like the subtle stuff. The light foundation to even skintone, maybe a little blush, mascara, and lipgloss. My everyday makeup basically.
