Avacado and spicy food. I love those two things but when I was young I just found it so disgusting. Oh I was so wrong about the two lol. One thing I did hate as a child was yogurt blah. And I still don’t care for it much.

I wouldn’t eat any kind of cheese either! Now I want it on everything!

I hated olives and sushi now I love them. And I use to like katchup but now i can’t even stand the smell of it lol.

I hated shrimp. Couldn’t even consider eating it. Then Fiance and I went to Florida 2 years ago and there was nothing on the menu that I wanted to eat (am scared of eating lobster, especially if it is the WHOLE lobster and it still has eyes) so he suggested shrimp.
Two years later, it is a main staple in my diet and I can’t get enough! I made some for dinner last night!

That’s so funny about the lobster! Funny you mention Florida, I hated coconut until I went to Florida! My mom made me have a sip of her coconut drink thingy and I was hooked. Now coconut cream pie is my favorite dessert (key lime is a tie) and I eat coconut with most seafood.

I guess the moral of our stories is that when you are low on dinner ideas, go to Florida! (I wish!)

I didn’t use any sort of condiments or salad dressing as a kid. I would eat everything plain. Now I don’t know if I love condiments (definitely not mayo, blech) and salad dressing but eating a plain hotdog is weird to me.

All meat/seafood! As a kid I was grossed out by any type of animal product, and I used to eat pasta with butter and cheese like every night and I’d take a corn muffin for lunch. Now I love pretty much any type of meat/fish, especially sausage, clams, salami sandwiches, you name it- everything except steak, which still disugsts me.

When I was a kid I thought broccoli was evil. Now I can eat an entire plate of steamed broccoli as my meal. Just love it and most veggies now.

When I was little I used to love all seafood, but now I hate it.
I used to not like pizza or peanut butter, but now I like both of those things. So weird how our tastes change!
