A shout out to all of you who voted in my Dress Poll thread:
Your incredibly kind comments gave me the courage to go “sexy” instead of “storeybook” and altough I didn’t actually choose EITHER of the dresses in the original poll, without you I think I might have ended up with serious dress regret! So without further ado….here’s the winner that you helped me pick!
There’s a short fishtail train at the back, and I’m thinking of adding a mermaid crinoline to increase the volume at the bottome a little. Thoughts?

@MissNoodles: Hmm…so I’m no crinoline expert, but somehow it feels like there’s very little room for your dress to be poofed out more? Maybe a very thin crinoline, IMO? not sure…BUT your dress is BEAUTIFUL! 🙂 Congrats on a great choice!

Oh gosh, no! Don’t change it at all, it’s gorgeous the way it is!

I’m going to disagree with the first two bees and say try it on with the crinoline! Also, they can add extra crinoline to the back under the train if you want a bit more drama! 🙂

I’m sure your seamstress can add a little extra if you want.
Love the dress!!! I love sexy and this dress does that for you.. I’ve wearing a shealth style dress and it gives me the curves. Hell, I’m 41 and I want everyone to same “Damn” when I walk down the aisle. LOL

Holy crap you look great!! Great choice!

That dress is absolutely beautiful! I think it will look wonderful with or without the crinoline. No harm in testing it out before making a final decision.

I love this dress, it could go either way, but i think you should do what you want!

I love it – I wouldn’t do a crinoline!
I think a wee crinoline would be lovely!

Oh my goose, dear. This is absolutely stunning on you. I’m speechless.
I wouldn’t add anything to it. I think it is perfect the way it is. (This makes me feel better about the modified fit and flare/trumpet of my gown)

@MsGigi: it’s a fairly gentle flare, and it starts just under my hips which I think is the shape you’ll want to go for. Even without shoes it didn’t give me that “short, saddlebaggy” look that some skirts do.
