… Or have you ever walked in on anyone?
I just read a thread where the OP said her Future Mother-In-Law walked in on her and her Fiance. I was wondering if anyone else has gone through a similar experience. How long did it take for the humiliation to go away? I could imagine that it is embarrassing for both the couple and the person who walks in.
I’ve never walked in on anyone or had anyone walk in on us (::knock on wood::)… but we have been interrupted by Future Mother-In-Law many, many times.

A classmate of SO’s in high school told him that my sister told him that she walked in on SO and I. We pretended we never heard that.

I’ve never walked in on anyone, at least it wasn’t absolute that my cousin (more like a friend of mine) and his gf were in the middle of some fun… Not the full on act but ya know.
But we were ALMOST walked in on by Future Mother-In-Law. Almost. I think she knows what she was about to walk in on after we freaked the hell out and she learned to knock from then on. Now, we have our own place so no worries. Haha.

My SIL walked in on us a few weeks ago (she lives with us). It was more embarassing for her than it was for us.
In my early 20’s, my boyfriend and the time and I were having sex in his car and we got caught by the POLICE! Sooooooooooooooooooo embarassing!

Oh boy oh boy. A long time ago my fiance, best friend, and I were staying in a hotel room together, well she left so we could “do it” and left the door propped open with the little hook thingy that a lot of hotel rooms have attached to the door. Anyway a few minutes later some guy comes in a robs us!!!! It was awful!!!!! We werent even in a bad area and the hotel seemed very secure. Needless to say she still hasnt heard the end of this one!

Thank God this has never happened to me. I have walked in on my mom and my ex-stepfather before. I knew my mom was home but she told me she was going to take a nap!! and my stepfather.. I didn’t know where he was. So then when her principal called on the phone I figured it was important so I went to go gently wake her up and tell her and when I walked in – no door locked btw – it was happening. I was only like 15 at the time so my mom just reinforced that now that my stepfather was with us I have to always make sure to knock every time even if she’s sleeping. But still.. I was home, I remember my stepbrother being home.. why wouldn’t they lock the door? LOL

I walked in on my roommate and her boyfriend in college. It was only slightly awkward and luckily I didn’t get too far into the entry hallway before I realized.

Nope. My fiance’s brother has interrupted us (knocked on the door because he needed something), but he didn’t see anything. He may have been suspicious about the amount of time it took for us to answer the door, though lol.

I walked in on my parents when I was about 17!!! So awful!! They had a rule that I always had to let them know when I was home if I was out late with my friends, so I got back one night, knocked on their bedroom door, put my head round to say I was back and…eughh!!! Luckily it was dark so I didn’t see much. And we never, ever mentioned it again!!!

Not on Darling Husband and I. My dad caught me with my ex, who he hated, though. We were in his truck and thankfully the windows were fogged.
I’ve never walked in on anyone but I’ve accidentally seen my dad’s porn saved in the address bar the week his computer was broken and he used mine. And one time I came in to talk to him and a chat window was up from some slutty lady in a yahoo chatroom – it said something like “I have some nice p*ssy for youuuuuuuu!” – ew!!!!!! To me that’s more traumatizing than if I’d ever walked in on him and my mom before the divorce. I don’t want to know what my parents fantasize about.

I don’t think I’ve ever be walked in on, but I have walked in on someone else. It was after a house party, and I walked downstairs, not knowing there were people doing it on the floor. The girl, a friend of mine, was doing someone other than her boyfriend. Talk about awkward. Oops.

Glad I found this thread…..blackmail reminder.
Goodness both-walked in on 2 different room mates ( college days now MOH’s), and my older brother walked in on me. But I laughed at my roommates just hilarious (more embarrassing for them not me), when my brother walked in on me couldnt look him in the eyes for a long long time…..(why oh why didnt we lock the door) and oh yeah my Future Mother-In-Law almost walked in but the door was locked, she likes to barge in when she visits so luckily I had the sense to lock the door that time.
