2 times as a bridesmaid and one time a groomsman.  Being a groomsman was way awesome!

I was a JR. Bridesmaid or Best Man for one of my aunts, and then a Bridesmaid or Best Man for another one. None for my friends yet, though as I was the first one out of the group to tie the knot. Thinking I’ll only have to do it once more for my Maid/Matron of Honor, as she’s really the only girl that’s a good friend of mine.

Not as an adult. I’ve been in a couple of weddings as a kid though – both my parents got remarried, but mostly that involved wearing a dress and showing up.

Nope!  I am the first of my close friends to get married.

I was a bridesmaid once. We wore hot pink Lilly Pulitzer dresses. It wasn’t a dress I would have picked out for myself but it actually went really well with her color sceme and all the bridesmaids together looked pretty cute.

I’ve been a bridesmaid seven times, and all of those were prior to my own wedding, as I was the last of my good friends to marry.  Of those seven times, I was a maid of honor three times.

I’ve been a bridesmaid for three family weddings, once in high school for my oldest brother’s wedding, once in college for brother #2’s wedding and then earlier this year for brother #2’s second wedding.  I haven’t been for my friends yet, but I will be next year, which in my circle has been deamed the “year of the weddings” since almost everyone is getting married in 2012!

Just once…I was 19 or 20 when my sister got married, and she had me be her Maid/Matron of Honor. Man, I wish I would have known more about weddings then…I think I did as decent as I could going into it knowing nothing about weddings, and I had help from my Mom. I still feel like she was a way better Maid/Matron of Honor than I was, but she also knew what to do! Whenever I felt guilty about it she reminded me that she picked me for a reason and it made me feel better, lol.

I’m going to be a bridesmaid again next year for my best friend (she was one of mine) and I feel much more prepared this time!

I’ve stood up for a couple.  One was in the mid 90’s.  That was the poofy-ist dress I’ve ever worn, complete with waffle prints on my legs and butt from all the hard cheap crinoline!

I was a flowergirl in my aunt’s wedding a long time ago, a Bridesmaid or Best Man in my brothers wedding and a Bridesmaid or Best Man in 2 of my closest friends’ weddings (who were both in my wedding,) and a Maid/Matron of Honor in a friends’ wedding who really isn’t that close to me, she just didn’t have very many female friends. My sister, who was my Maid/Matron of Honor, has yet to get married, as does my 4th friend who was a Bridesmaid or Best Man. (And I have one unmarried brother, and DH has two, but other than that, I doubt I’ll be a Bridesmaid or Best Man again.)

Nope!  I was “next in line” for one of my friends, but that’s as close as I’ve come.

I’ve been a bridesmaid twice. Once for my friend who got married right out of highschool (I was only 17) and once for my grandmother when she remarried.

The only time I was a bridesmaid was when I was 15. My aunt/godmother got married and since she could never have children, she chose my cousin and me (both her Goddaughters) to be her bridesmaids.

I was a bridesmaid last June and will be one again in June 2012. I’ll have a few more to come after that, too, but I enjoy it! 🙂
