- Wedding: September 2013 - Old Stone House in Brookyn
I’ve seen a TON of famous people on the street, in restaurants, etc. but never really talked to anyone. My SO has hung out with Hayden Christianson and Rachel Bilson… he is a big Star Wars nerd but managed to play it cool and act like he didn’t know he was talking to Darth Vader. He also worked for Paul Ruebens (Pee Wee Herman) for a while.

I grew up in LA, so I’ve met and even went to school with a quite a few. I’ve also been hit on by a few that are apparently married? EW.
I can’t really post names though because I feel like it reveals too much about me.

I’ve met people throughout different times in my life. The first four I’ve had the opportunity to chat with:
-Pat Monahan (lead singer of Train)
-Slug (of the hip hop duo Atmosphere)
-Several motocross and Supercross riders (Jeremy McGrath, Seth Enslow, and a few others)
-Jonathan Davis of Korn – I was at the shooting range doing some training with a buddy and he was a couple booths away.
-Adam Campbell – he wasn’t particularly nice so I’ll stop right there
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. When we lived down in CA, DH had a job where a few celebs were regulars at the shop he worked at. Matt LeBlanc and Jennie Garth are the only ones I can think of right now.

Yep, I’ve had the chance to meet a few! Through friends, work, or just by chance…
Snoop Dog, David Guetta (+ many other big DJs), Puff Daddy, The Killers, Emile Hersh, Hillary Duff, Owen Wilson, Jerome Bettis (NFL), like the whole 2007-08-09 Montreal Canadians’ team, Jared Leto, Panic at the Disco, George Saint-Pierre (UFC)…
I think that’s it…

Does it count if it was before they were famous? Ha. I mentioned this in the other thread, but I was in a college acting class with John Krasinski (Jim on The Office).
But no, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who was famous at the time.

Oh, and Jimmy Carter complimented my DH on a best man speech he gave at his friend’s wedding! Said it was the best one he’d ever heard.

A lot of bands. I could seriously write a book on how many I’ve met. One of most proud of right now is Juliet Simms. She was recently the runner up on The Voice. I met her back in 2007 and 2008. We’ve hung out a few times. I love that girl to pieces.

My favorite story: meeting Weird Al Yankovic. My beau is a huge fan, but I could take it or leave it. We got to have a meet and greet, and suddenly I got star struck, tripped on my tongue and said “You’re…you were…you’re just…fanCASKET!”. Thankfully he laughed heartily.
Another favorite was meeting Emily Saliers and Amy Ray (Indigo Girls). As a performing songwriter, they are among my heroes. I kept my cool that time and had a great conversation about singing and writing. An absolute highlight of my life.

I met LL cool j on my 16th birthday (he did a sing/rap happy birthday lol), Ashton kutcher, and the butler from wedding crashers. He was so cool. A friend and I met him at a restaurant and talked for like 2 hours. I met Ashley Tisdale too but that wasn’t too exciting Haha I lived LA for a couple years, so it’s kinda sad I didnt see more celebs lol. My chiropractor had all kinds of famous clients too, but I never saw them.

Ian Ziering from 90210 (he’s from my mom’s hometown and my mom went to HS with his brother)
Josh Groban – he was in my freshman college class for about 2 seconds before he got his recording contract.

When the Super Bowl was in Indy this year I met a LOT! It was awesome! Jason Taylor, Matt Hasselback, Deon Sanders (not very friendly!), Adam Sandler, Stephen Baldwin, a lot of random football players I can’t remember….and my absolute favorite: Vanilla Ice! He was soooooo nice. The 6th grader in me was squealing!
