MarmotaLinda:  Absolutely fabulous light gold, and I do like Hubby for Dessert too. But more importantly zomg that ring!

I like hubby for dessert better than Brooklyn with your hair and your dress.  But that’s just one opinion ๐Ÿ™‚

I found this Comfy in Cashmere by Essie that I’m liking for fall.  It’s a matte but I un-matted it with a shiny top coat.  Couldn’t find hubby for dessert but I’ll keep looking.  Love it and definitely need another lavender polish.  lol

I like the sparkly pink and the gold. I love what another pp did with the pink and the one gold or one sparkly nail!! Also, I love your dress and shoes!!!

I have more purples in my collection than any other colour, but I wouldn’t recommend you go with one of those unless they really match your ring well… especially since the shoes are more red-toned.

My best bet would be Essie’s Jiggle high-jiggle low, an icy gold which I think would play wonderfully with your dress

or otherwise a combination of a well-matching amethyt/lilac with gold. I bookmarked this tutorial ages ago for my list of to dos: http://www.makeupsavvy.co.uk/2010/11/dazzle-dust-nail-tutorial.html

    you win!  Haha!

I’ve never layered polishes before, bit today I did Essie No More Film and it was way too drastic.        (not used to dark colors this early in the year), so I painted on a coat of a more sheer OPI (not sure of name), and came out with this…

I may be late to the party, but I want to try this.  Has anyone tried this at home?
