Usually a loonie ($1.00).  I thought that was tons of money when I was a kid, but I assume by the time my kids start losing teeth inflation might have raised it to a toonie?

I usually got $1.  I remember one time I got a note explaining that I wouldn’t get anything because my room was messy and I was mean to my brother.  There’s no way my future kids will get anything more than $1.  At that age, there’s really no reason they would ‘need’ money.

I got $2 a tooth. I thought it was pretty nice!

I’ll likely raise my kids in England. Do they even do the tooth fairy there? If so, I’ll give them a pound or two. Ha.

$1.50, and the $1 was always folded into an envelope with the two quarters inside. My toothfairy was a crafty little thing.

My mom and dad have told my sister and I that they used to fight because they never had small bills in the house, and my mom would often give us $20 a tooth without my dad knowing, until one of us said “Look what the toothfairy left me!” hahaha…I will definitely not be doing $20 a tooth! I’d guess maybe a dollar or a 5 depending.

Between $3-$5 depending. When we lived in South America it was less because it was in Colombian Pesos so maybe the equivalent of $2.00 US.

$20 but I think my first time it was only $5 (according to my mom). I was one of the kids that was still losing teeth when I was about 8-9+ years old.
