We’re doing a min-moon right after our wedding and will probably spend about $1,500-2,000. In November, we’re going to the UK for a week or so, and we’re budgeting about $10k. We’re hoping it will be less than that though. 🙂

sqldudette :  ours came to £50 including spending money. We went to Mexico for 17 nights and had 10 nights in a penthouse suite with roof-top jacuzzi at the Gran Bahia Principe Sian Kaan, and 7 nights in a swim out suite at the Excellence Playa Mujeres; return flights for London UK (economy class) and private transfers throughout. Had a blast!

We had just done a big 4 week trip to New Zealand and Austrailia 6 months before the wedding and spent 12k there.  So we had an inexpensive lazy beach honeymoon at St John USVI for about 2.5k.

We are spending the equivalent of about $7,000 for two and a half weeks in Italy. We are in the U.K. So flights are cheap but we’ve gone upmarket for accommodation, cost of dining plus loads of tours and entrance tickets. Can’t wait!

p.s. Our wedding is costing maybe half of that all in – it’s just the two of us!

Approximately $3500. We did a four day Royal Caribbean cruise from Florida to the Bahamas. Then we spent a weekend in Disney World. Our in-laws gave us $500 for the Disney World portion of the trip, so it cost us about $3000. This does not include airfare. I was bumped off my flight with United once and got a $600 voucher, which paid for our flights (worth waiting around to me!). It was an amazing vacation.

We’re spending about £9k for a month in a campervan exploring Nevada, Utah and California (start Vegas, end San Fran) and hopping to Kauai for the last 5 days. Our wedding is only costing £6k but we’d rather have a smaller wedding and go on an epic trip!

  • Wedding: August 2017 - Rome

We are spending around £6000 for 2 and a half weeks in Rome, Venice and Florence.  £3000 of that is for suites. 1 cheap hotel in Rome for 3 days followed by 5 in a penthouse suite (we are actually getting married at this point) then a few nights in a junior suite in venice followed by a suite in Florence.

Budgeting £70 for food per day for the both of us (breakfast already included in the hotel) so some days we will be eating street food/picnics on days out of the cities so we can eat out really nicely the next day.

£40 per day for attractions for the both of us as things in italy are fairly cheap compared to england and we have already done most of the “big” sites in Rome so will save there.

Business class return flights for 750.

Trains between the cities – business class and high speed.

150£ tourist tax

the rest is “spending money”

Two nights in a suite at a top hotel in our departure city, plus a week at a boutique resort in the Caribbean — about 9K. I paid, as I had an amazing corporate job at that time.
