I spent about $160 to create a four-tier, lace-edged cathedral veil. It has a high cascade, a hip-length tier, a chapel-length tier and a cathedral tier. I ended up purchasing two veils from Light In The Box and combining them to get the length and layers. I described it in excruciating detail on another thread (http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/the-saga-of-the-veil-or-should-you-buy-from-lightintheboxcom) and posted some pictures.

Mine is lace edged, one tier and $370, over half the price of my dress. My mother explained it best by saying “I am not a veil person, I didn’t wear one and generally think they look silly. That veil makes your dress and is perfect for the church. It is a must.”

I paid $11 for my 1 tier raw edge cathedral veil. I just needed something simple but elegant. Its perfect and I didnt have to spend an arm and a leg! I got my veil from ebay and I couldn’t be happier!

I purchased a raw-edged, single-layer, cathedral-length (120″) veil by Malis Henderson. It has some Swarovski crystals scattered on it. It was $500. I also added a blusher, by another vendor, for $99.

I got mine custom made by Ansonia style 762 if was 150″ two tier with the second tier at fingertip.  There is champagne and pale pink hand beading over all the scalloped edges. 🙂

    Price was mid $400.

Mine was $275 for chapel length. It had a blusher and it was more of a juliet cap with full lace until about my shoulders. I have a picture I can upload on my phone (uploader isn’t working on my computer)

    $30 on etsy.

It is 108 inches, and plain (no lace/crystals etc). The one I orignally liked had beautiful crystal patterns on it, but it was $200, and I absolutely refuse to pay that much for a veil, especially since I will only be wearing it during the ceremony and pictures
