together we make probally 50 grand. in our area tho that is completly doable. We have a very cheap mortage which helps! was reading some posts about people who have house payments of 1 grand a month or more and i cringe everytime i see it!

I’m currently unemployed, FH brings home less than $20K a year. It’s been extremely difficult to make it, but the job market around here is pathetic.

When we finish school, we should be making $70K combined.

$150,000 ish, but that doesn’t stretch very far in our area.

We make $75,000 after tax and living expenses have been deducted. Not sure of our total before tax/living expenses though if I do some rough numbers it’s probably around $110,000.

$74k – I took a heavy paycut to move to where FH got a job but his opportunity was too good to pass up and I hated my old job. We both work in clerical and have bachelor’s degrees but neither of our jobs actually require them as a basic minimum. Cost of living is fairly low but I moved from one much lower.

Just a little over $150k. We are both FT, but SO has his MBA while I will finish my MST this summer. He does insurance while I do finance/accounting. The $150k does not go far in our area, but we are VERY lucky to pay way lower than market for our apartment in the NY/NJ area (rent from SO’s family friend). We are planning on moving southwest once I complete school bc we can’t deal with the insane house prices and shoddy lifestyle here. 🙁
