I never thought I’d marry someone who had a child (kids from previous marriages/relationships were actually on my “no” list)

I never thought I’d marry a cajun

I never thought I’d marry a country boy

… but I wouldn’t have my Fiance any other way.

I never thought I would marry someone with flesh tunnels – then again I never thought I would marry a body piercer.

I never thought I would marry someone so gentle and sensitive and loving (because I didn’t think they existed)

i never thought I would marry someone who has cats. Ugh!!!

I never thought I’d marry a northerner! (UK bee)

I never thought I’d marry somebody with dysfunctional family drama (his sister is awful!).

I never thought I’d find somebody let alone marry somebody who loves our fluffy little rabbits like people love their human babies, and wants me to have all the fluff babies in the world 🙂

I never thought I’d marry somebody that would make me change my mind about human babies, and make me actually want to breed with him!

I never thought I’d marry somebody who knows me so much better than I know myself, to the extent that I literally haven’t won a game of rock paper scissors in months because he ALWAYS knows what I’m going to pick in that moment!!!!

I never thought I’d marry someone from a different culture (Never saw myself marrying a Puerto Rican!!) – but I love it, we teach each other new things all the time

I never thought I’d marry someone whose family lives so far away! – His family is in NY and I’m in Chicago, but it makes for fun trips to go see them!

I never thought I’d marry someone who didn’t go to college – but he’s soo driven in life and is getting so far ahead, it inspires me.

I never thought I would marry so young (21) and I never thought I would marry someone 12 yrs older than me. But I fell for my husband hard. We have been married 7 yrs this June and have two kids together. We are happy and more in love with each other.

I never thought I would marry someone who smoked. I never even wanted to date a smoker but Fiance and I were friends first for like 5 years and I just couldn’t help falling for him, smoking and all! He did quit this February however, though I never pressured him to do so, he decided to quit all on his own. So I guess in the end I won’t be marrying a smoker after all!

I never thought I’d marry a blonde haired, blue eyed pretty boy. I was sooo into dark hair and eyes before I met him!

I never thought I’d marry someone who doesn’t consider himself “book smart.” I think he doesn’t give himself enough credit, but sometimes his use of vocabulary is cause for giggles. I have said on multiple occasions “Babe, SCARCE and SCARED do not mean the same thing.” and other similar phrases.

I never thought I’d marry someone who lost both his parents and isn’t close with any family now aside from two siblings. He’s a strong man, that’s for sure. Stubborn too.

Like a PP above I never thought I’d get married.

I certainly didn’t think I’d marry a fair skinned, blue eyed, all american “jock”.  All I was ever interested in was dark, foreign, accented, and dangerous or otherwise delinquent.
