Dh originally wore an 18K gold ring with three tiny diamond set diagonally across the front, but after 20 years, it became too small. Instead of resizing he decided to try something else and bought this one. It looks great on him, but he has giant hands (it is an 8 mm band):

This is my husband’s. We wear matching, plain 18k yellow gold wedding rings, as it’s traditional here. Wedding bands must be gold (at most white gold or platinum), matching and as plain as possible.

ecrisrien :

I’m so here for this thread! My husband’s ring is a size 11 coffee colored tungsten ring with a rose gold inlay and I picked it out for him since I know his style. He lovessss his ring. His coworkers also love it hahahaha.

For those who wear silicone rings: do they get sweaty / stinky / chafey ?   I’m really active and I think this is what I’d like to wear as my wedding ring.

I don’t have a pic, but DH’s ring is just a plain comfort fit 9k yellow gold band, 6mm I think.

I have white gold because I am cool-toned so it looks best on me.  Dh is warm-toned with a slightly ruddy complexion, so although he originally wanted white gold, yellow gold looked much better on him.

Here’s my husband’s ring from the wedding day photo shoot where the photographer wanted to take a photo of his watch and ring, but he had forgotten the watch; hence, borrowed his best man’s navy watch for his black tuxedo. ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s a 5 mm. white gold ring, sides are shiny and the middle part is brushed, so seems matte? I don’t know, we saw it online but in yellow gold and wider, so we had it made at our local jeweller.

My husband has this one, but in a different colour – I don’t think they stock that version any more. His is a really dark grey, almost black. The stones are black diamonds. It really surprised me that he chose one with stones, I was expecting him to pick something really plain.

ecrisrien :  hello ๐Ÿ˜€ we are from Italy, and it’s a really rare occurrence to see wedding bands that aren’t plain or yellow gold.We are way too traditional it seems ๐Ÿ˜‚

My husbands is black tungsten carbide.  Over time it has become a bit more gray but held up very well. He is a supervisor/carpenter, gold or silver would be a safety concern in his line of work. Tungsten shatters when hit directly.
