Yes, it still looks bad. Change the sash color to one I'm suggesting below. : (12 votes)

@mandigrl04:  Don’t change the sash!! I love the sash you have and I don’t think it looks bad with your dress at all!  🙂

I think it looks fine, even without seeing all of the details I thought that 🙂

If YOU love it, that’s all that matters. I can see how the royal blue and slightly different style than normal of it could look unusual to some people, but when I see it with your other items for the wedding, I think it fits right in.

That’s a big risk of asking people their opinions – nothing will be everyone’s taste, and for some people (I would be one of them!), it can be hard to shake negative opinions.

You look BEAUTIFUL, you LOVE it – and that’s what counts. Enjoy it and don’t put another thought into it!

@mandigrl04:  I know I was one of the people who called out the sash, but I really think it’s lovely!  Don’t you worry, you look fantastic!

I think it’s beautiful! My suggestions would be to add a necklace that has that same shade of blue to bring the color up near your face, and/or I wonder if it would be possible to add a wider same-blue sash underneath the one you already have, which would make the bling on the outer edges of the sash “pop” more AND give you more color. But you’re going to rock it no matter what, it’s a gorgeous sash and it goes beautifully with the dress.

Ok, I went back to your last post to see what people had said and I think I see what they were talking about (maybe). The first picture you posted you had the veil forward and it looked totally different for some reason and I think where the veil rested drew attention to the belt and that’s why it was called out. I think it looks much better with the veil back and once again, think it looks great even without seeing all of the other details.

I like your sash option soooooo much better than the origial one that came with the dress.  I think that as long as it matches your color scheme and wedding feel that you shouldn’t change it for the world!  Who cares what other people say- I’m sure it will all make sense on your big day!

(on a side note- I do believe it is a teensy bit crooked/ off centered… perhaps you could have your seamstress tack it to the center of the dress to prevent any awkward photos?)

Just read your other post…. here’s another option that you might entertain just to see.  In the other post, some people were saying to try a thicker sash- and they may be on to something.  My dress came with a thin sash and I swapped it for a thicker one- and it made ALL the difference!

You could try to layer your awesome blingy sash over a plain ribbon that matches the accent color to give the sash more width… this would be oh so easy to try out just to see if you might like the look better (I found that it made me look more curvy- yay!)  Just a thought.

    Maybe post a pic?

Now that I have seen everything else DO NOT change the color. I still stand by wider. Does the seller make a wider one and would allow for an exchange? It’s a very beautiful sash!
