Hey Bees! I was wondering if I could see some of your e-rings which are not a solitaire, but rather are simple bands, or channel-set stones. I’m particularly interested in coloured gemstones, as it’s something I’m looking for in my own e-ring! I love the freedom of just having two stacked bands as my set, rather than an e-ring that can snag, as I am active and that would fit my lifestyle well.
Let’s see the lovelies!

I just have a band. A diamond just isn’t me and doesn’t fit into my lifestyle.

I ended up choosing something different, but seriously considered this as an ering. Bands as erings are beautiful.

I am having 2 bands. One is 1ct of diamonds that circle 3/4 of the band and the other is another 1/2 ct diamond band. Blingy, yet practical 🙂 I do love a solitaire tho but the bands just suited my hands

My e-ring is a semi-eternity band with 7 round brilliant diamonds with a shared prong setting in white gold. Tcw is about 1.75. It’s exactly what I wanted!
I’ll be pairing with a plain 2mm white gold wedding band for now, but I plan to get a yellow gold diamond channel set anniversary or baby ring down the line 🙂 I love stacking rings!! The possibilities are endless!

These are so classy & elegant!

@MrsSnowMountain: I love how you just described my engagement ring! I have 8 emerald cut rubies, each .5 ct with .25 ct of pave diamond on each side. I am getting 2 pave diamond bands that match the rows of diamonds as my wedding band(s) (so it will look like 2 rows of diamonds).
For some reason I can’t post my uploaded pic, so here is a link: http://www.lovetheyesgirls.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Boone-Sons-Jewelers-Engagement-Ring-4.jpg
I chose this because it was the only thing blingy enough that I loved that fit into FI’s limited budget.
eta- able to post a pic now!

@amandasf: I love your ring!! I saw it on another post and was blown away. Love the rubies and diamonds!! Blingy is right!

Mine’s not a true flat band since the bottom is narrower than the side with the diamonds but it’s also definately not like any other e-ring that I’ve seen. I wanted something simple that I wasn’t going to be constantly worried about catching it on something or banging it.

@LuckyClover: that is super pretty! definetly not like any other engagement ring.

I have one too! A simple band I mean. We used these when we were engaged and then just took them off and re-gave them to each other on our wedding day as wedding bands 🙂 Mine’s a chunky monkey though so no stacking for me ha ha!
I use my right hand for my sparkly ring I just recently got, and for costume jewellery, but my left hand is only for my wedding band 🙂

@lybarra: I LOVE this! I love how round and chunky it is, it looks so comfortable, plus you have some sparkle too….absolutely perfect 🙂

@abirdword: Hey I almost got that ring! It’s Leaves and Buds by Brilliant Earth.
I went for the Flora ring by Brilliant Earth.

amandasf I have never seen anything like that, it’s absolutely breathtaking!
LuckyClover, so very pretty! Delicate and feminine in a way, yet substantial!
pigeon-noises Do you mind if I ask how wide that band is? And your ring size? I love that look!
They are all beyond gorgeous though, thanks everyone for the amazing inspiration!
