I love all of the pretty photos rings next to flowers but I thought it would be fun to do a thread showing off your ring in less glamorous places.
Here is my pearl form the 1760’s at Hooters. Yummy wings.

Here is my Paraiba doing some dishes!

It’s not hideous, but I can’t get the “fire” like a lot of other bees do. Like, I see it in person, but I can’t get it on the camera. Sooo if anyone has any tips, help a sista out!

justinsgirl2016: Your ring is STUNNING! I can’t figure out people get the “fire” shots as well.

PinkPearls: Oh stop. That ring seriously cannot ever look bad. Or unglamorous!

@pinkPearls I love that shot! Being in bed is not glamorous, but that ring is! Dolly Parton (my hero) said she does dishes wearing her rubies so she always feels fabulous. I love that.

This one is the first one I ever took after he proposed. it’s in the bathroom of our hotel room just before we went out. It was the only place with an overhead light and I wanted to send a pic to my mum of it relatively close up on my hand.

Ukulele4You: my old ring I think it looked like murky water here. Usually it looked like Hawaiian blue.

I just got done sweeping my back porch on this dark and dreary day. My engagement ring is going solo at the moment, as I noticed that my new wedding band is scratching her shank all up!

princessinwaiting: lol thank you lady! Interested to see what you end up with 🙂 I am sure it will be glamorous.
Ukulele4You: thanks Bee! I could never wear my gems to do dishes. I guess it would always be clean that way though!
SoonToBeMrsBOP: thanks!!

Here’s my accidental ring shot from work last summer (wildlife biologist – we were banding baby hawks!).

Shortly after he proposed I tried photographing it for the first time….came out a teensy bit too blurry.
