The name says it all! The price is before alterations, dress only! Bonus if the pic is of you in the dress 🙂
Also, it would be great if you could say if you think the size of the dress runs Large, Small, or true to size.
I will go first!
My Dress: Maggie Sottero Taleigha
The Price: $1100 without alterations
My pic (I will update with an actual pic of me once I go in for my 2nd fitting):
Additional specs/details: Ballgown embellished tulle dress with a natural waist and a very small corset that ends at the natural waist. Low back
The size: Runs large– I ordered the 0 and when it came in it still needed alterations to be taken in (1.5 inches either side, for a total of 3″ I believe). However, being on an extreme end of the size range I can’t really say if the problem was with the dress or just me.
Happy Posting Bees!

Not sure of the name, it’s a dress I got at DB. It’s a lace trumpet style with a key-hole back. This picture is without alterations, I plan to make it a more dramatic trumpet. It was 549.00 and it runs large. I usually wear a size 5 in pants (not sure about dresses anymore because I don’t really wear them much, but I used to wear a 3 dress) but we ended up ordering a size 2.

My Dress: Reem Acra “L’Aventurra”
The Price: $3400 without alterations. Retail price is about $5500 though, and I bought the sample, hence the big discount.
It is a slightly drop waist tulle ballgown with lace underlay. There is a very subtale lace applique on the bodice underneath all that wrapped tulle. I can’t tell you about the sizing, since I bought a bridal size 10 and it is about 4 sizes too small and will require a ton of alterations.

I wore a now discontinued dolce satin Essense of Australia dress. It was right around 1500 I believe. It ran pretty true to bridal sizing. I’m a street size 00/0 and ordered a 4 and it was a bit big but nothing crazy.

My Dress: Dere Kiang 11066
The Price: $499 without alterations
Additional specs/details: Taffeta gown with sweep train available in white or ivory with ribbon waistband available in a number of colours (I ordered my dress in ivory with an ivory ribbon). Detachable skirt. To be discontinued June 28, 2013 according to http://www.bestbridalprices.com. Glad I bought mine early!
The size: I’m not sure how true to size this is as I don’t know American sizing, but I ordered it without trying it on based solely on the Dere Kiang sizing chart, and it fits perfectly.

@TulleTornado: thank you!! I got super anxious at my first fitting cause it was too big, but hopefully in 3 short weeks I can post a picture of it properly fitted! It makes me feel like a princess!
@JulietFoxtrot: thanks to both of you for pointing out that your dresses are discontinued! I didn’t even think of adding that information which might be vital to bees still looking for “the dress”!

Mine was Pronovias Petunia, $1800. I think it’s pretty true to bridal sizing, I had to order an 8 and my measurements are 36-26-37.

Me in my dress 🙂
The dress: Maggie Sottero Clarice
Price before alterations: roughly $1700
Sizing: Ran a bit big. I ordered the 2 thinking I would need to size it down a little bit and I was swimming. I am usually a size 0-1.
