Its in the dress bag at the bottom of a box right now… sad, cuz I love it so much!

I would love to have it put into a shadow box like a PP said – It was on RHOBH though and her closet was MASSIVE! Not sure I’ll ever have that size to put it up in but I definitely want to save it for my future daughter – I want to have photos like these of her in it!

I’ve kept my jewelery and shoes for that same reason as well hehehe

@CarterLove:  It was cleaned and vacuum packed into a box where it is stored safely. I had considered selling it but the idea just made me feel icky. I love it too much!

@lolot:  Oh dear lord if I tried that in my dress I would sink in the mud! Looks fun though!

@CarterLove – It wouldn’t have been so bad if she had gotten rid of it many years ago, but with it being within the last 5 years, it stung a bit.  I’m only 27 and my younger sister just turned 25.  Our grandmother on my father’s side passed before I was born and we have nothing of hers (grandfather didn’t keep anything of hers), and our grandmother on my mother’s side was married and divorced four times, and remains unmarried now, so she has not kept anything from her past weddings that would be meaningfull.

Just one of those things, I guess.

@KimmySumShuga – Those are fantastic!  It’s going on my future to-do list!

@CarterLove:  It’s currently sitting in my closet.  My husband and I joke about getting dressed back up in our wedding cloths on our first annivesary so we can go out and pretend to be a newly married couple on a bar crawl.  He just wants an excuse to wear his white linen suit.  Tongue Out

So far nothing, but I’m really thinking about dyeing it so I can wear it again. It makes me sad to think I will never wear it again otherwise! Then again, if it’s dyed, nobody else can wear it… but how many people really wear their mother’s dress? I’m torn!

Mine is hanging in my closest in its garnment bag. I will keep it but I have no idea what I will do with it yet. I’m not sure I want to preserve it and a have a dress in a box that I can never open. My mom kept her dress for many years and she had me wear it when I was little which made adorable pictures so I would like to do the same if I have a daughter.

Mine is hanging in my parent’s closet. No idea what I plan on doing with it. I suppose I will end up preserving it and storing it.

Mine is just hanging out in our guest room closet…in the condition it was in at the end of our wedding day.  Haha.  I should really do something about that…

@CarterLove:  had it cleaned, preserved and boxed in one of those big boxes with a window in the front. i figure if i decide to dye it later or sell it, donate it, let a friend wear it etc. at least it has been kept safe and won’t yellow in the meantime.

i highly doubt i will do anything else with it, though.

My dress wasn’t very expensive but I suppose it has some sentimental value for me.

It’s currently folded up and in storage.
