Or Vice Versa
I’ve noticed that my tastebuds have changed during the course of my lifetime. There are many things that I loved to eat as a kid, but hate now, and things that I love now, but hated as a kid.
When I was little I loved:
Sugar water (I would put sugar in water and drink it)
Grape and Orange soda
Now, I wouldn’t touch those things with a ten-foot pole!
I hated chicken salad, though, which is now one of my favorite foods. I also hated deviled eggs, collard greens, mashed potatoes with lumps, and homemade macaroni and cheese. Now, I could eat them everyday!

Lima Beans. They used to be my favourite food and now they make me gag.
I still love Chef Boyardee but the thought of Kid’s Cuisine is making me sick. Those used to be an awesome special treat!
I’ve really never been all that picky, but I would eat seafood as a kid if I were made to but I won’t go near it now.

There is a lot I wouldn’t eat as a child but love now: ranch dressing, brats, tacos, salsa…the list goes on.
The things I loved as a child that I won’t touch now are cold hot dogs and Kraft macaroni and chesse (I will eat homemade though).

As a kid my mother got me to eat both braunschweiger, liverwurst, whatever you call it as well as liver and onions. While neither were my favorite, I was OK with both.
Since I left home, I never bought either because they weren’t really my favorites. Now the thought of eating either one just gags me.
But then I used to hate green beans and now love them. Go figure.

I used to eat eggs. ALL THE TIME. It was the only thing I was allowed to cook when I was younger, and so that’s what I ate. I can’t stand eggs now. Occationally they’re okay but I can’t cook them.
And from then to now. I NEVER ate chinese food, I’d have my parents get me mc donalds or something. Now I can’t get enough.

Kraft American Cheese Singles (individually wrapped)
Cold hot dogs
Any and all frozen dinners/pizza/burritos/Lean Cuisine

Peanut Butter – I HATED it as a child. Now I could sit and eat an entire jar.

Foods I liked then but not now:
- McDonalds (or any fast food meat)
- All kinds of processed foods
Foods I like now but not then:
- Peaches, plums, nectarines, etc
…Yeah, I’m healthier now.

Ketchup on scrambled eggs! I can’t stomach it now at all, but loved it as a kid.

I used to eat them cold as a kid. I can barely eat them cooked now.
