This one collared button up red plaid shirt. I don’t even know what bugs me about it, it’s not even that bad of a shirt! haha.

And a hoodie that has flames on it. Enough said.

My husband *loves* sweat pants/track pants/lounge pants with elastic on the bottom. He says it’s “his style”. He also has a photo of himself in Turkey in which he’s wearing a fanny pack… I’ve never seen him in it and it definitely didn’t make it to the states, but man. Really?  πŸ™‚  Gotta love him anyway.

He has these DISGUSTING sneakers he will not throw away. He hides them from me when he knows I’m getting ready to toss them out. It’s so bad, they are just awful.

My husband thinks that basketball shorts are acceptable to wear for any and all occasions. Setting up bank accounts… meeting potential vendors… going to Olive Garden…

His reasoning? “People shouldn’t judge me on my appearance. My money is just as valid as theirs, and if they have a problem with my appearance then they don’t need my business.”

Which is a great attitiude, and therefore really hard to combat with “THATS NOT SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE, DEAR.”

@CanadianMermaid: Boy, he must have some serious moobs to stretch out your bra πŸ˜‰

My guy has this awesome t-shirt that we both love, except it’s threadbare, full of holes, and his brother used to wear it and totally stretched the neck out. So Darling Husband is forbidden to wear it outside the house.

gym socks that go to his calves that he bunches up and wears with gym shoes and shorts in the summer. I’ve begged him to get some other shoes besides the big marshmellow gym shoes and to give ankle socks a try.

@mrsbruff2b: I totally could. It’s just buried in the closet, lurking and taunting Darling Husband because he can’t wear it πŸ˜›

My ex-FI kept the rattiest boxers ever. He had, like, 20 pairs of good underwear but still kept the 10 ratty ones. He was wearing a pair one day that had a huge rip with the extra fabric flopping over and I just lost it. I went up to him and ripped it all the way around his leg so the only thing keeping them on was the banding around the thigh and the waistband. I thought that would do it. He was like, “What’d you do that for!?!!” in the most shocked way, like I ruined a nice suit or something. He took a pair of scissors and cut off the hanging fabric and said he’d still wear them. I threw them and the other pairs away when he went to work he next day. πŸ™‚

I like this thread, my Fiance wears these blue basketball shorts that have burned holes about 5 of them. But he looves wearing them in the house.

@CanadianMermaid: lol!! Mine put my pants on once, came out to show me and was like “I like these new pants, I didn’t know I had them!”

Mine used to have some really ugly pleated pants. I hid them, he doesn’t even know they exist anymore. He has a few sweaters that clearly his mom picked out but he is resistant to getting rid of them!
