I went to school with a couple of brothers and their last name was “Whacker”.  You pretty much can’t put anything in front of that and have it sound normal. The dad’s name was Richard and he went by Dick. *shakes head*

In high school a friend of mine applied for a job at a chinese buffet restaurant. The manager gave him her business card with her name on it, her name was Kitty Chow.

I hate when people try to spell a trendy name differently. Like if you want your kid’s name to be different, don’t pick a popular, trendy name! I girl I went to school with just had twins, a boy and a girl and her choices for names were:

girl:Serenity, Sarenity, Serinity, Cerenity,Carenity, Serenitie

boy: Jayden, Jaidyn, Jaden, Jadyn, Jaydyn, and Jaydin

And her first 2 kids had such normal names!

I just heard of a Serendipity Pslam (first and middle). Poor girl. Some of the ones posted are rediculous, but to me this was just trying way too hard to be unique and missed the mark. At least for me. I’d hate my parents.

Well the most exposure to baby names I get is on here, so I won’t name any of those 😉

But I did go to high school with three brothers named Pepsi, Apple, and Taco – named after what their mother craved when she was pregnant with them.

I was at the doctors for an appointment and the nurse came out asking for Lady Nasty. Her Dr was ready to see her.  No one came and she said it again. Then her mom stood up and said its LaDynasty… Oops.

My old supervisor was Ray Gay. I had to call him Mr. Gay. I just hated it so I would slip a few Mr. Rays in there from time to time.

I went to school with a boy name Haydrian. Thought it was kinda cool though.

My friend just named her baby girl Brayklee. Kills me.

Icy and stormy (girls I went to high school with, sisters)

Dusty (girl)

SharRon – pronounce Shuh-Ron. not sharon. Shuh-ron

and this isnt a first name but two girls I grew up with had the last name hooker. They were athletes and had the lettermans jackets. on the back was the name “hooker”. totally an unfortunate name to have.

Cherry

Nastarcia or Star for short

sisters named april and autumn which arent really out there necessarily but their mom had a thing with naming her kids after specific time periods I guess.

oh and my cousins kids are named the following

Briyon-boy pronounced like brian

Briyanna-girl

Briyah-girl

and she’s pregnant with another one so I am curious to see how she pulls off making up a fourth name to go with these three.

Oh one of my friends from back in high school’s last name is “Slutsky.” We were on the swim team so our last names were printed on our caps, and some girls on another team actually asked if they could pay to have her swim cap.
